This thing is a joke
No spark is created, feels like a 5 year old made it. Don't waste your money.

Zero stars
Why can't you rate zero stars? Waste of money. Buy waterproof matches.

I'm pretty sure this is the exact same item that was advertised as something amazing and good quality on Instagram, in one of those really slick, convincing ads. This thing isn't worth even close to 9.99; .99 is more like it. And I bought it for $20 on IG. No, I guess I got it a little cheaper, because like a moron, I bought 2 of them (one for a gift). Delivery took almost a month, and it comes in this little beat-up packet from Hong Kong (try to decipher the "english" product description above, and that makes sense). It contains zero instructions, and come to find out you have to put lighter fluid in it (which wasn't even mentioned by the ad), and it's empty because they are not allowed to ship anything flammable. So you have to figure that out... but it's just cheaply made. I won't be surprised if it breaks soon. Not to mention, I see versions of it here on Amazon for WAY cheaper... though I saw at least one review rating average of about 1.5 stars, and 1 star had the highest percentage. Ahh, well... ya live and learn...

P.O.S.
This is basically a de-constructed butane lighter, only you need to keep filling, it is prone to leaking, and it doesn't light when you strike it. I've started hundreds of fires with homemade flint and steel, purchased flint and steel fire-starters, and this item is multiple times harder than a basic flint and steel to start a fire. It also has the added disadvantage that you need to keep filling with lighter fluid (very difficult due to the small fill opening).

Don’t buy!!!
Garbage. The striker was poorly glued in and fell out as soon as I took it out of the package. I had to hot glue the product back together before it’s first use. Unacceptable! Poor reinvention if the wheel.
