Finally found a quality comfortable watch I can wear to work. I can wash my hands often without it shorting out the watch battery. The strap holders do not break off like many leather watches . Easy to read. I am so pleased with this product.

I am not in the medical profession but I wanted a simple analog watch with a white face, black numbers and red second hand, military time and a light up dial. As an older person, I also wanted a watch with a larger size dial for easier readability. I did not want a date window since I can’t see it anyway, plus I didn’t want to have to adjust it monthly. The description of this medical watch seems to fit the bill. I wear a 38mm Apple watch which I love and thought this watch would be a similar size. The width is slightly wider than my Apple watch, probably due to its round shape. Since I have smaller wrists, I would prefer the size to be slightly smaller but that is a matter of personal preference.The luminous hands are touted as a feature on this model. It should be noted that only half of the length of the hands are luminous. Since this watch is targeted towards the medical field, I think it would be much nicer if the full length of the hands would glow. Luminous hour markers would also be nice although with the seconds markings, it could make the dial more crowded. As with all watches with luminous hands and/or markers, you will need to expose the dial to bright light for a few seconds in order for the hands to glow in the dark.I assume the biggest reason why many people chose this particular model is for the light up dial. This feature is similar to the Timex Indiglo, where a push of the button would light up the dial for about three seconds. For someone like myself, that is sufficient to see the time in the dark but I understand the comments by medical professionals who state a few seconds is certainly not long enough to perform any kind of medical task. It would be nice if there was an option to keep the watch lighted for a longer period of time, then manually shut if off when needed. Of course, this would eat up more battery life but the user should be aware of that anyway.In conclusion, for my own needs it serves my purpose as a non-technological watch for casual use. I looked at cheaper Timex Easy Reader models with similar features, but came back to this watch because of the red/black color combination on the dial for easy readability. I deducted a star because the watch is overpriced, but I hope that the battery will last a couple of years and the long-term reliability will be able to justify the premium cost. Only time will tell.

I have had this watch now for 4yrs. I love the watch itself! The glow light still works, keeps time, and looks great. I even love the military time since working in a hospital I still admittedly struggle with remembering the time after noon. However, I HATE the bands! I have replaced the scrub band (silicone) 2x because the adjustable "holder loops" breaks off. I would greatly appreciate if Spiedel would make an active/ tucked band option. I catch the tail of the band all the time and it breaks the loops, or they slide off the tail. Very frustrating! Otherwise, I love this watch!

Bought this as a gift. Person Opened it. Dead! Amazon sent a dead watch that also appeared used. Called speidel, they immediately made it right and sent a new watch.

Made very cheaply. In changing the time back, the small dial popped off and it won't stay on anymore. The numbers don't glow in the dark. You have to press the button for it to light up and then the light doesn't stay on for a long period of time.

I really liked the look of it, and the delivery was as promised. However the only thing I'm not entirely happy with is that the second hand was slightly off as it moved so it didn't fall directly on a round number or any of the ticks for that matter. However, it is still able to tell time, just wish the second hand was more accurate

pros: It's prettycons: It only lights up for four seconds unless you hold down the glow button. The second hand is a bit off in some spots.It would be nice if they made a pulsometer & glow combo watch.

Excellent product , however the light doesn't stay on very long. I was hoping it was something I could control 👍

would buy another one of these watches for sure.
