Catalyst iPhone Xs Case Impact Protection Compatible iPhone X, Military Grade Drop and Shock Proof Premium Material Quality, Slim Design, Sunset

This case is fantastic. Its very slim, high quality, and looks good. It also provides great handling and protection for the phone (see the drop-test reviews on YT). It fits perfectly with a full, edge-to-edge screen protector (Patchworks ITG 3D beveled glass). What's not obvious from pictures and videos is the feel and quality of the materials and build. Although the surrounding bumper is fairly stiff, it's not slippery (unlike the phone itself). The bumper provides a great grip, without feeling very rubbery or cheap. The buttons are very subtle, but they're easy to feel and always give a precise response. The rotating mute switch is kinda cool and works well. The bottom corner of the case also supports an optional lanyard attachment, which if used, makes the phone "undroppable".

Fantastic case. Fits my iphone x snugly all around nice and light and slim case rubber sides feel comfortable in hands. The clear back is durable and scratch resistant compared to otterbox pursuit clear case i returned that one because the build quality was below average and the rotating switch was made of cheap soft plastic and it wouldnt grab onto the ringer/vibrate switch on my phone. The rotating switch on this case fits perfectly onto the ringer/vibrate switch and is easy to twist, it hasn’t twisted accidentally in my pants pocket at all. The clear back is a finger print magnet but thats expected with any clear case. the volume and power buttons are easy to press and its easy to tell which end of the iphone x is the top end just by looking at the rotating and volume buttons on the case. Case is easy to clean and easy to install. I drop tested my phone 5 ft high onto tile floors a few times and this case held up nicely and no damage to my iphone x. Overall, this case is of great build quality and craftsmanship and i can see a lot of time and effort went into the design of this case. Yes i recommend this case to iphone x users out there.

Edit: Iove the case rating from 3/5 to 4/5!!! After living with the phone and case for almost 2 months, I have not only gotten used to the color, I find that the grip is actually better as it wears in. The only gripe I have at this point is that the polycarbonate back offers only a small amount of raise around the camera. In the current iteration, I would recommend this phone case. The silence dial is just too good to abandon. I rate this product a 3/5 because: Cons: 1. I ordered the sunset color scheme, assuming that I would receive a case that was a bold red (like in the pictures). What I ended up receiving was a case that looks pink in certain lighting and orange under direct lighting. The color is not unbearable to look at but I would prefer if the case was a darker, bolder red. 2. The border of the phone Is pretty slick and slippery. The case has a more plasticy feel than I was anticipating. 3. The case was intended as an iPhone X case and rebranded for use with the IPhone Xs. I know this because the cut out for the rear facing camera is not entirely centered. 4. There isn’t much of a raised border to protect the rear-facing camera. Pros: 1. The rotary dial is intuitively designed and functions very well. 2. The outer border of the case is raised around ~2-3 mm to afford good protection to the face of the phone. 3. Although plasticy in feel, the border of the case is more rigid than I anticipated. 4. The polycarbonate back showcases the back of my phone very well. 5. The buttons work very well. 6. The case is light and does not add unnecessary bulk. Overall: I like the case but I would like “Catalyst” to create a case for the IPhone Xs ( not rebrand iPhone X cases) and raise the border on the back of the phone to provide greater rear-facing camera protection. I would also like the case to offer better grip. I am sold however, on the rotary dial and the ease of use of the buttons. I’d like to see improved color options.

This is the best iphone case I have ever bought. It is not too big, but not really very slim either. It is just perfect. I was looking for a phone case with wrist strap, and it comes with wrist lanyard strap. The really bad design of iPhone X is overcome by this phone case - you immediately know which side is top, and which side is bottom. Volume up/down, On/off buttons are clearly shown and even better than thw original buttons. Mute on/off switch is so nice. I like the color and overall design. I have clip-on lens set for the camera, and surprisingly, the clip-on lens works quite well, which I never expected. The true review should include a drop test, but I’d rather give other nice reviewers a chance to do that ;-)

Love everything about this case! It protects my phone so well, including the screen with the raised edge. It also is not bulky. The lanyard and dial mute switch are fantastic bonus features! Has been dropped a couple times by my 5 year old and there is absolutely no damage to the case or phone! Really a great product!

I really love this case. This case feels great in the hand, its easy to hold due to its slim fit. The quality and colors look great. It definetly feels tough like it could take long term use and abuse. I will defiantly get the catalyst impact case for my Iwatch and rubber sleeve-protector for the AirPods when I can afford it. Shipping was fast, I don’t think I’ll ever use a different brand! Great job Catalyst

Had it for over a year now, still amazing despite countless drops

Had one of these for years and had no problem until it cracked, replaced with a different make and sent that one back, and bought another Catalyst which is more expensive than most but it works!
