The silicone cover fits the Garmin etrex 20x perfectly and gives great protection to the plastic body, preventing scratches from drops. It also conceals the distasteful orange colour of the unit, blending it in with the colour scheme of my bicycle, which it is mounted upon.

The original rubber that covers the buttons on my Etrex 30 was wearing thin, the on/off button was worn through. This cover fits really well, it is unobtrusive and feels good quality. I would highly recommend this cover. Well made, arrived quickly , very happy with this item.

Super-fast dispatch. The case is exactly as expected: a glove-like fit to my Garmin eTrex 30 giving extra protection and longevity to an already ruggedly built GPS navigation unit. I usually keep the unit on a carabiner snapped to the webbing of my backpack. However in the course of a recent off-track x-country ski race I noticed the rubber case lying in the snow. Somehow it had come off completely. I snatched it up and stuffed it into a pocket until I could deal with it. A bit of disappointment there: I did not expect for this to happen.

As spares are no longer available for my Garmin. I had to repair one of the rubber switches myself. Once repairs were completed this cover finished the job.

I liked the colours (bought the Blue ). Really good value and came with a screen protector as well. Good value.

I bought this because the on/off button on my GPS had worn through and had a hole in the rubber and it does a good job of encasing the buttons and protects from further damage. It was thicker than I expected and not as tight fitting as I had hoped so I only give 4 stars.

Offenbar ein bekanntes Problem bei den Garmin Outdoorgps Geräten, dass die Funktionstastenüberzüge zerbröseln. Ich habe seit langem ein Etrex 30 und jetzt ist es passiert, dass die Schutzüberzüge der Tasten zerbröselt waren. Nun war ich schon dabei, mich nach einem neuen Gerät umzusehen, aber weil das Gerät eigentlich noch soweit in Ordnung war und meine Karten installiert waren, suchte ich eine Möglichkeit, das Gerät nochmals nutzbar zu machen und stieß dabei auf diese Schutzhülle, die passgenau die Funktionstasten wieder überziehen und so kann ich das Gerät wieder benutzen. Prima Lösung!!

I use my Garmin eTrex a lot. I take it out on long hikes at least three or four times a week and it takes a beating. The black rubber around the device was peeling up and actually tearing at weak, thin places. It looked awful and was very annoying. I was looking to see if I could replace the original rubber, but could not find it anywhere online. Figured I'd give this a try. It was easy as pie to install. It stretches a bit so I just put it on the eTrex like putting a rubber galosh over your shoe. It covered most of the old black rubber and holds the old rubber together. With twice the rubber layer, my device is protected better from shock and dropping. When I first saw it, I thought I might have problems pushing an outer button which in turn pushes the original button, but the second-layer buttons work exactly as well as the original buttons did before. It is hard to get excited about a GPS case, but this one has exceeded my expectations and I am quite happy with it.

Good looking case, easy to install, and seems to add a nice degree of protection. Also makes it much easier to snap on my pack for hands free use.
