Read Before Buying Goods of Woods/E-Fireplace Store Rugs !!
Hearth Rug Purchase? Read this FIRST! Warning! Before buying a hearth rug from Goods of the Woods/or via e-fireplace store you'll want to READ THIS ! Product quality is very poor !(Their phone Reps ARE polite, but the company policy is: Greed)... We just purchased a high-dollar fiberglass hearth rug from Goods of the Woods/e-fireplace store. We had the rug in place just four days when we noticed a small circular burn mark had already appeared in the rug! At first Goods of the Woods/or e-fireplace store acted like they would of course refund our purchase, especially since they did acknowledge they fully understood how short a time we owned the rug, and they confirmed that if the burn mark was rather tiny, they completely agreed with our concern that the [poor quality] product would surely soon be peppered with many tiny black melt spots in just one or two winter’s time! Goods of the Woods/via E-fireplace store then instructed us to email them a photo as proof of the damage. We sent a picture clearly showing the tiny black melt spot. But once e-fireplace store/goods of the Woods had undeniable proof that indeed a tiny black burn had already occurred (indicating it was obviously NOT caused by irresponsibility or a large ember carelessly being left on the carpet), they changed their tune completely and said they could not accept the [low quality] rug to be returned to them because it was "damaged" (oh brother!) and because they could not re-sell it, nor take a loss. If you buy e-fireplace store hearth rugs, good luck. You may as well save $100 and use any old carpet or rug scrap hanging around your house, because Goods of the Woods/e-fireplace store rugs tolerate burns just about the same, and the company does NOT stand behind its products.
