Toot & Puddle

In good shape and a great story!

This is a wonderful book for young learners. I am a pre-k teacher and this book is going to be so fun to read to my class.

This is such a fun story line and can be continued into their other adventures. I love the illustrations.

My daughter’s favorite.

I adore this book. I still get a little sniffy at the end. It's a great story of two friends who are very different but they appreciate each other differences w/o judgement. It's a great month by month thing too since each page is another month. It's very sweet. And the art work is fantastic!! I have given this as gifts to friends - especially ones with siblings. May we all celebrate each others differences and just enjoy each others company. But the lesson is subtle. The real story is just about two friends having different adventures. A 'must have' book. A classic.

I don’t like all of the toot and puddle books with kids as the audience, but this is one of the ones that is so cute! Cute pictures. Cute storyline. Cute.

I bought this book for my eldest daughter (college age and a journalism major) and for my youngest daughter (first grade.) My college girl travels the world like Toot and my baby girl stays home (like Puddle.) And of course, like Toot and Puddle, they miss each other terribly. So, together, they read the book when my "Toot" is home for a visit and it helps my "Puddle" to understand why my "Toot" keeps leaving and that she will come back. The story shows that even though Toot leaves to travel, he still cares for Puddle and that he does come back home. My eldest also enjoys the art work (she is also an art history minor) and the well written story and my youngest just enjoys the book.

This is the introductory book to two pigs, Toot and Puddle. One likes to travel to far places and the other likes to enjoy the things to be found close to home. They are different but they share a place in Woodcock Pocket. Ms. Hobbies watercolors are fabulous and the story is easy and warm hearted. Just right to share with a child. Or in my case with my wife when we want to unwind and think kind thoughts as we drift off to sleep.

Super schöne Bilder..absolutes Lieblingsbuch..die ganze Serie ist sehr zu empfehlen und die Kinder lernen ein bisschen über verschiedene Länder obwohl die Texte minimal sind und für meinen Geschmack sehr am Text gespart wurde..Bilder sind spitze

libretto carino, con copertina morbida e di un formato pratico e comodo da leggere. Peccato non sia disponibile anche in italiano. Le illustrazioni sono splendide e la storiella è semplice e simpatica.

Lovely story about best friends who like different things. One travels around the world and sends post cards, and one likes to do home based activities. Very nice quality book. 10” by 10” Bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter and it was such a pleasure to read it to her.
