My doctor recommended this as an addition to my antidepressant when I told him I wasn’t sure it was working. He told me there was a vitamin that has been know to boost the effectivity of antidepressants but many insurance companies didn’t cover it and it was quite costly. Right there in his office, I looked it up on Amazon and found it for $29.99. I ordered it and started taking it the next day. I swear, I immediately felt the change. I had never felt anything take effect so quickly. I’ve been taking it over a month now, religiously, and recommend it to everyone I know or meet who suffers from depression and/or is taking an antidepressant that seems to have lost its “luster”. I’m so happy to have found this at an affordable cost!

My physician recommended L-Methylfolate 15 mg to build up my serotonin levels. I had never heard of it & my local health food store did not have it. I have learned that this is the natural form of folate where folic acid is the synthetic form of folate and that the "L" signifies that it is an amino acid. Amazon had many different brands in many mg sizes to choose from. I am on my second bottle so I have been taking it for 2 months now and I can definitely tell a difference in my mood and quality of sleep. I have been taking an antidepressant for years and have never heard of this and I wonder why not. This has elevated my mood so much. I am very happy with both my physician's recommendation and Amazon's choices. This is a small capsule so it is easy to swallow.
