Good quality, good value
This is actually a pretty nicely made and sturdy accessory for hanging stuff from your headrest. It has a rubberized texture (so it's not a hard brittle-plastic feeling) and all the pieces assemble tightly with no loose play. Getting it into the space between the headrest poles was a bit tricky for my car since it's just a smidge wider even when fully retracted (it has a springloaded width adjustment), so the trick was to extend the headrest to the tallest position and then slide the hanger base in diagonally, sort of like this --> | / | (the two vertical lines are the headrest poles and the slash is the hanger base). Once inside the headrest poles, you can force it into a horizontal position and it stays put. I contemplated getting the OEM BMW version, but that costs about 3x as much so I thought I'd give this a try for about $16. I'm sure the BMW version is of better quality and typically I go for OEM, but for my needs (ie, very infrequent use), this should do the trick. If it breaks, I'll update my review.

Perfect for the vanlifer with a day job, or to hang a small bag off the back of a set
I bought this item to hold my work/dress clothes behind the driver-seat, via the headrest posts. Works like a charm. As a past and future van-lifer with a day job, this item is perfect for storing those pesky dress clothes. Super easy to install, strong, and works as advertised. My only critique of the item is the rubberized finish - it feels cheap and I don't feel it adds to the product's functionality. I would rather have this item made of ABS plastic, or other hard plastic that can withstand weight being hung from it, and big temperature swings of 100+ F in summer and -20 F or so in winter, without breaking. Finally, the item protrudes from the back of the seat a bit, so consider not installing on seat-backs where a passenger might regularly be (i.e., a child). In an accident, I can imagine this item becoming dangerous, as the back of the seat is built to protect the rear passenger.

Sturdy and fits my SUV's posts
My last headrest hook didn't fit my larger SUV's posts very well, worked most of the time, but couldn't be counted on. So when I saw this I thought I'd give it a try as the design seemed more secure. I'm very impressed with how well it fits and the quality of materials. I keep mine folded in the up position most of the time so I would have preferred a design without suction cups or with removable suction cups, they distract from the sleek design imho.

This is the Best! Forget the rest!
After trying those flimsy wire headrest hooks, that bent and got caught on my grocery bags, I was looking for something stronger. The ENGYNC Headrest hook was the answer. Sturdy enough to hold my groceries bags, shopping bags, my hat and coat. Not some flimsy piece of wire but a substantial, well crafted, multi-functional unit (holds your cell phone when the hook is stowed in the up position) that looks great too! Five Stars!

Works well
Works very well and is similar to the units BMW sells. I have the BMW unit for our 3 series and compared them.Just so there is no confusion, this is not the same quality as the BMW unit, however it’s nicely designed and manufactured.

Great travel item
I tried a few others to hang clothes on in the back seat for travel and they didn’t work. This is strong and will hold quite a few hangers so I don’t have to hang the rod which blocks my view. It also hold shopping bags and purses so they don’t tip over during the drive. Works wonderful.
