Varney's Midwifery: . 6th Edition

The binding on the book is horrible and pages are falling out. It gave out in less than year and I've been emailing JBL for an explanation and replacement.

My main reason for returning the book was because the newest edition comes out this week and my professor wanted our class to have the newest version. My issue with the book I received is that it’s poorly bound/defective. The first page of the book (blank white page) is not aligned properly and doesn’t align with the rest of the pages and was folded when I opened the book. Also the spine of the book is separated from the hardcover if that makes sense, it’s like there wasn’t enough adhesive or something.

I bought this book new, so that I could keep it for years as a reference book. It arrived with the binding torn and the pages almost falling out. I'll be surprised if it stays together for more than a few weeks. For $115, this was not worth it. I am very disappointed in the quality of this book, and it looks like they simply repackaged a textbook that was rented out several times. Not new.

Bought book in new condition. Opened the box to find this. Very disappointed. This book is a staple for my classes and I need it right now and can’t afford to return it and wait for another.

There is an odd chunk of about 100 pages printed out of order, skipping over about 100 pages then skipping back and forth. There is a chapter that I just cannot find that seems to be totally missing. Very odd. Otherwise, it's your average textbook. Pretty light to carry which is nice.
