NEO SMARTPEN M1 Bluetooth Digital Pen Compatible with iOS, Android, Smartphones, Tablets, Windows (Navy) Bundle with PaperTube Video Creation Kit

The pen and apps they work ok. It I’s simple to link the pen with the Android APP (Neo Notes and Paper Tube) as well with the Windows 10 app. The pen’s design it’s oriented to be more functional rather good looking. It is slim, light and comfortable, and the ink refill has a good quality.The color code works fine, maybe too many colors (8) to remember the variety of pen status, however the blue-connected, the red-charging, the green-charged, the flashing blue-Bluetooth connecting, and the solid white-on and working, they make sense.There are some missing functionalities that for the uses that I intend -that it's sharing notes with the synchronized audio- the solutions are not good.The most important to me it’s to share the Note with the audio, even this option works great with NeoNotes-Android, it will be only for yourself in your own phone, no way to share the note+audio. The solution at the moment it’s will be doing a backup for the entire Notebook on GoogleDrive, then you have to import-recover the notebook with the NeoNotes-Win10 and then export to video-mp4. The result: 33seconds=78MB, and of course you will lose the possibility to “navigate” trough the page pointing the paragraph, schema or mark that you could use when you written the note.The second solution, it is using the Papertube-Android APP, it has some cool features (including the video capture in a corner, so the note will show the writing, the audio and your face), however the result will be again an mp4 Video file, and this is more oriented to create video, so that’s its ok.It seems incredible, with all the possibilities that offer this pen and Apps they don’t have one exchange file, in example, share the file to be reproduced with the same App, this could reduce the file size for the notes+audio. (This is an option that you find with Livescribe 3 pen and the Livescribe+ App, so, I will be remain with this option even the Neo Lab Convergence M1 pen incorporates more options but fails in the notes-synchronized audio sharing file)If you are interested just sharing written-graphical content, there are many options to export, and they work great, you can easily share with EverNotes, Microsoft, Google Clouds and others, and by e-mail.Considering the above discussed, I think it’s a fail or at least an important limit not having and exporting file between users that share same platforms (or a player using a own format), imagine that your document “word” only can be shared-read in different format, and the others users that have “word” they can’t open your “word” file because you only can export in “pdf”.I have some expectation that in the future this shortcoming will be over with a new software App. Besides M1 Neo Lab Convergence pen and the Livescribe 3 pen, there are not really options for the synchronized audio-writing note, the apps for Tablets are very limited.

The pen cup is too tall, so when you clip it to a notebook, it stick out too much, not as a regular pen.Also the look and feel of the pen is as a very chip pen.

Great product! Having hand-written notes available on-line is now possible.
