A very accurate navigational tool and very handy for those not too quick at counting on your fingers! ;-) Slightly over sized for the application that I need, however don't let that put you off purchasing. Nice an robust.

Die Rechenscheibe erfüllt ihren Zweck ohne Probleme. Ob ich sie wirklich brauche? So schwer ist der Dreisatz ja eigentlich nicht. Wer aber nicht gerne rechnet, kann dies mit der Scheibe einfacher erledigen.

This is well made, yes plastic but sturdy and nicely done. Works great for voyage planning and just overall understanding of charting if you are doing blue water or coastal trips. Only downside is the numbers are small but I can read them fine with glasses, some people might not. Buy it once have it forever, nice addition to nav station.
