Very Well Thought Out Kit
Absolutely and outstanding kit. The only thing it could have used would have been a pair of forceps or large tweezers, but I made due with an old surgical forceps tool. Using this kit and reviewing the detailed video instructions from Other World Computing actually made it a low stress and fun project to add an SSD as a second drive behind the optical drive. I would point out that if you buy a different SSD than OWCs like I did (I used a Samsung), they can be thinner than OWC's, requiring a more careful placement. This is because one of the cables has a 90 degree bend to ensure it fits in the space correctly. However, the thinner SSDs like the Samsung cause the connector to fit closer to the back of the chassis than I would have liked making it tough to ensure there is not excess cable bend stress. I solved the issue by playing with the mounting position but in retrospect, adding another four double-sided sticky pads would have done the trick, radioing the stand-off height slightly. It is working beautifully though and it's scary fast at boot up, logon and app launch when compared to having just the HDD alone.

Perfect kit for SSD upgrade
Took about 1.5hr to add SSD to the 2011 iMac. The straight SATA cables worked perfectly and the video instructions by OWC made this complex task a breeze. If you are not used to doing major upgrades to your gaming PC/Mac, leave it to the pros.I ordered another pair of the SATA cable and power connector to do back to back upgrade to second iMac. Great quality product !!I would recommend Samsung 850 Evo Pro 1-2TB and Carbon Copy to clone your HD.

DIY at its best !
Got everything as advertised, used it following the youtube guides, and everything worked perfectly on iMac 2011. Really satisfied with OWC, after a dead computer for 2 months, added SSD with no issues and writing this comment on a flying iMac and no overheating.

NO inline thermal cable
The picture shows the inline thermal sata cable. This kit does NOT come with that. This is NOT an upgrade kit. This is basically a sata cable replacement kit.

Worked great except...
This kit worked great, for the most part, in my effort to replace my dead internal hard drive with an SSD. The only problem I had was removing the posts on the old hard drive. It requires a torx T8 screwdriver, but the kit came with a T6 screwdriver. I was able to use a pair of pliers to get the posts off and move them to the new bracket. But it was a bit of a frustration. Before leaving this review, I searched other people's comments. It seems like I'm not the only one with this problem. Interestingly though, it appears as though some people had the opposite problem, receiving a T8 when they were expecting a T6. So which of us bought the wrong kit? Or were the kits packed incorrectly?Maybe OWC could add a couple of bucks to the price and give us both T6 & T8 to cover all the bases.

Macs are intentionally designed to be hard to repair. Don't let Apple win.
I love Apple products but I hate that company's business model of making products hard to repair so that you'll just buy new ones instead of repairing or upgrading what you have, thus delaying a new purchase. This OWC kit makes it, well, not "easy" but at least easier to repair/upgrade your iMac. I've upgraded the hard drive on two different iMacs and it instantly improved their performance.

Great kit, super-helpful instructional video on YouTube
The kit and instructional video made opening an iMac pretty straightforward, and now I've got a super fast SSD in my 2011 iMac. By far the best money I've ever spent upgrading an older computer. I went from booting in 1:45 to booting in 0:18. Highly recommended for anyone who is familiar with assembling a computer.

A Decent Kit
Its a decent kit. My main issue with it was that they sent the wrong SATA cable. It should have been one with one end having a 90 degree connector. The cable I received had a straight connector on each end. I tried using it anyway but there is so little room between the motherboard and the back of the aluminum case that it just wouldn't work. I ended up having to purchase the correct cable from a local store. Every thing else worked fine though. The suction cups came in handy as well as a few of the tools in the kit (as I already own many of the same tools)
