The Nook EXCEL flange-mount twin closed pillow block has integral lip seals and aluminum housing with lubrication port. The four-bolt flange-style housing with two ball bearing inserts provides ready-to- mount installation where surface and guided shafts are perpendicular. It has aluminum housing for use with supported shafts and integral lip seals to retain lubrication and protect against contamination. The closed-type pillow block is suitable for spanning or bridging a gap, platform guidance, end stop support, conveyor width adjust mechanisms, edge guides and machine operator guards. Mounted bearings combine a bearing mounted inside a housing unit. The bearing housing replaces the need for a casting or weldment to position the bearing securely for reliable operation, and its design determines the type of insert bearing.
