This rod is probably the best choice because they focused on function before beauty. It looks nice. The curtains go over the connection point with no hangups. Smooth to install, smooth to adjust and use, and smooth looking. No flexing with a 8ft x 4ft blackout curtain on it. You can't go wrong!

These are especially great for room darkening curtains because they go around the corner and fit closer to the window but still allow for you to put shears under them so you can open them when you need to or want to. I think they’re wonderful. They’re very good quality. Their weight and thickness is excellent. They hold my heaviest velvet curtains without difficulty and I like them Very easy to use and very easy to put up or install.

I would give the product a five star review but the rod is not as easy to install as everybody says... especially for a large window or doorwall. You need to measure, mark, measure again, hope the anchor goes in properly, check one side, connect the pole temporarily so you can check everything with a level, and then do it all again on the other side. Be sure you know whether you are drilling into wood, drywall or something else because that will affect how the anchor is sunk. All in all I like the look and function of the rod and would probably buy this again.

These are the best rods, especially for bedrooms, to get full coverage over a window with a curtain(s) as they allow curtain(s) panels to wrap around the rod to the wall on each end. Great for light blocking or better privacy. They are strong and look very nice. Purchased two sets - a short one for a small window and a very long one for a very large window. They are very easy to assemble and install. Highly recommend. Would purchase these again.

Easy to install, and worked great for blackout curtains. Once installed three of these curtain rods. They are sturdy and they are each easily holding up two curtain panels. Honestly when I opened the box I thought these were not going to work. But after installing there's very little light coming in from outside for all three west facing windows that I used these on. A small amount of light comes in from the top of the curtains during the day with bright sun light, but very little at night. The curtains easily wrap to the wall with the curved corners of the rod, and this minimized incoming light as well as looks pretty good too.

This curtain rod is excellent. I've purchased it 3 different times because of how well it works and how easy it is to install. In each case, I installed it to use with blackout curtains.-The curved end of this curtain rod allows the curtains to curve around and get closer to the wall, reducing the gap between the curtain and wall considerably. Of course, this cuts down the amount of light that gets through.-The extendible rod makes it easy to adjust to any length. Just make sure the mounts are the same level on both sides and adjust the rod to length and attach by turning the rod to screw it in.-Middle support mount is easier to mount once the bar is mounted by the ends. Just place the middle mount into the location to support the rod and mount it to the wall.I know I'm going to end up buying more of these curtain rods as I install more blackout shades in my kids rooms.
