Old India Garlic Flakes 1 Kg

I have bought Old India onion flakes before and regularly use them in everything from salads to casseroles and curries. They are an excellent product so I thought I would give the garlic flakes a go. I have tried them in a stew and they enhance the flavour nicely. I have never used garlic much in my cooking before so I'm looking forward to experimenting with these flakes. I intend to grind some of the flakes to make garlic salt for added versatility. Buying dried onion and garlic is very economical. They keep very well and a kilogram of dried onion flakes has taken me approximately 18 months to use up. I recommend both the onion and garlic flakes.

I bought this pack of garlic several months ago and have to say I thought it was good. My disappointment comes from the fact that it is produced in China! I thought "Old India" would be a good indication of it being grown in India, how stupid of me!!! I have nothing against China other than there are stories of organic food being grown next to factories and chemical plants rather than some pristine natural environment. What's true? Who can tell anymore in these distopian surreal times.

I am a part time chef and I am completely impressed by the quality of this dried garlic. It is flavourful, smells incredible, well dehydrated so it will keep without catching fungus or deteriorating. I am very impressed indeed. Highly recommended
