This is a difficult review because in all this is an excellent product but the description was not so accurate. This is a BUNGEE CORD and can not be described as anything less. The product is a great value, great manufacturing and great durability. HOWEVER!!! This CAN NOT be used for an elastic connection for a Covid19 Virus Mask. It does not move like typical elastic. It is FIRM, STRONG and very very TOUGH STUFF.If you are holding down a load on top of your car or securing a load of lumber then this is what will work. As far as securing a piece of fabric across your face? Well unless you are an android robot and have all metal parts and you are securing a piece of steel across your face then this will work on that application. I make sport of all this but the bottom line is, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this as a BUNGEE CORD but not as elastic to secure a virus mask you are making for friends and family or even to sell. It just would not work and would be extremely uncomfortable for you. The description is not exactly correct.All this said, I can recommend this for ONLY the application it is designed. A BUNGEE CORD. BUT NOT for anything delicate. Thank you for your time...

My son is a special needs adult and uses elastic shoe laces because he's paralyzed on one side. I was outraged at the gauging of prices for elastic shoe laces simply because they're for disabled people. So I decided to find a way around that and I order this elastic paracord. He likes the different colors and these work fabulously. I bought them in several colors and have ordered again from this company to get more colors. Very happy with all of my purchases from them. Shipping was fast and at a very fair price.

I WAS SHORTED 15.5 FEET. I PAID FOR 100 FEET AND RECEIVED 84.5 FEET AND CANNOT RETURN BECAUSE I AM HALF WAY THROUGH THE PROJECT. I CANNOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM "BUILT FOR SURVIVAL." I WILL NOW HAVE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER 50 FEET TO PROPERLY FINISH MY PROJECT.

Wanted this to work out so bad but it was nothing but a waste of time and money. It basically has no elasticity to it what so ever. It will stretch over time and loose any recoil memory. I had this product on 3 kayaks and ended up removing it from all three of them due to some form of failure. Main failure was just not holding tight as the cord lost its tension. the other was the product pulled out of the eyelets after about two weeks. I would also tribute this to loss of elasticity. I've pretty much lost all hope for any good quality type of Elastic Bungee Nylon Shock Cord in colors besides Black.

Replaced the deteriorating cord on the entire bottom portion of ONE of our zero gravity reclining chairs, and tested it out - success!

The paracord planet cord was perfect for our daughters "animal zoo" project. I love the color(true to the picture). The stretch is just perfect and could be pulled tight enough to keep the stuffed animals from falling out, without losing its shape. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase!

The 1/16" size is the perfect size for a diy face mask. I don't know what I was thinking in buying the 10 ft length for $7.49. Despite this, I'm here again to buy some more but now chose the 50 ft length (for $10.49+tax). Obviously, I'm happy with this purchase!UPDATE (1 month later):Some of the elasticity is gone by this time but all I have to do is to untie the ear loops and tighten them again since they're not sewn to the mask. Still works for me!

Exactly what was needed to build a cage for my daughter's stuffed animals. So far this product has proven to be quite durable as well as colorful.

I love the outdoors. Mainly because my parents destroyed the housing market and I am forced to live in the forest. Among the trees, it is do or die. Which is why I rely on paracord. So far it has saved my life and kept me alive - all while giving me cool bracelets to show off to the local white tail deer when they come gallivanting through my section of the forest. If you hunt, fish, hike, or do anything outside of your house, it's always a good idea to have some in case you need to create a spontaneous hammock.

I wanted it for face masks but it is still quite heavy for this. I bought 2mm chord before and it was much better so thought this might be alright but it is much heavier than I hoped. Also delivery was very slow

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect. I bought the 1/4" diameter cord, has about 30 strands of elastic in the core. I used this to replace the cord for the ends on my pop up camper.

We use this for attaching GPS ,Hand held radios and other essentials to our work filed vests. It's high-vis in case it becomes lost and stretches so it can be used from the pockets in which the instruments are kept.
