Great illustrations. Well written and informative book about Shackleton’s epic journey to Antarctica. My 3rd grader enjoyed it. And used it to help him with a history/explorer project.

The message in giving the book was to teach about fortitude and strength of character. The adult version is my all time favorite book. Such an inspirational read.

I was looking for a book about Shackelton's expedition for an 11 year old. Bought this one by accident, but looking through it, it's too easy for an 11 year old. At $25.00 it's definitely not worth the money. Now to return it I have to spend another $6. I'll just go donate it.
