The knife is almost a 100% what you expect from them and what they have promised. Respect to that. However, there were a few issues with the knife that i received.The knife overall is good, its just a few things that bother me. Mainly scratches. First of all when i received my knife, it was wet (box was dry) with a bunch of small pieces of something that looked like hair? Might have been some kind of material to keep it in good condition or whatever.Anyway, it was all good then and there until i dried it up and i started realizing there are a few scratches on it. Most of the scratches and stuff are on one side thou, which makes me feel awful about that side. In reality, most of the scratches are small and also there are a bunch of mini holes here and there.And no, i haven't dropped it or used it in anyway before inspecting it.On that one side thou, there is a small, but fairly visible, WHITE scratch which is close to the tip of the knife and is the worst of the existing scratches. There are also two more smaller white scratches on the same side. I dont know how any other person would feel, but these scratches just destroy the beauty and perfection of the knife to me.Although it is a knife, i see it also as a kind of "trophy" or decoration item. Having scratches straight out of the box makes me question the manufacturer as it was pretty safe in the box (or was it a returned item? who knows). I would pretty much rather get it scratched doing something rather than receive it with random scratches on it.Other than all of that, the knife is pretty good. The shape is really nice, the painting has a great, glossy finish, its pretty decent sized, feels great to hold, perfect weight, probably made from good materials and it is also sharp, however, keep in mind its only the very edge of it that is sharp. It does not have sharp sides to it that help cut deeper and thicker, which is not a big deal, but not what i expected.I pretty much did my research before buying, not sure if i regret buying from EK. Im definitely going to buy more knives, might try a few other companies thou.However, as much as the scratches demotivate me, i would still recommend buying from Elemental Knives if you're interested, maybe i was just unlucky with whatever happened to my knife :/Thats as far as my first day of having the product.(Photos of some of the scratches attached)
