The Concise Book of Trigger Points, Third Edition: A Professional and Self-Help Manual

Perfect supplement / complement to Clair Davis Book
I have had for many years the outstanding Clair Davies book "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook: Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief." Ordered the Niel-Asher book because I have been helped by Niel-Asher's video as to massaging the very hard to identify and treat Pterygoid muscles. Just received "The Concise Book of Trigger Points, Third Edition: A Professional and Self-Help Manual" and was blown away by the detailed, explicit diagrams and, without having read the book, I can tell by the comprehensive and very clear Table of Contents that it has very helpful descriptions of all muscles including the muscles of the head, face and neck. I'm very happy I got this book and look forward to learning more about the muscles so I can more clearly identify to my doctor and therapist the muscles that need attention and Botox treatment.

My wife actually liked it for her pain.
Gave it to my wife to help her with her degenerative back disorder and the pain in her knees from a botched double knee replacement. It was no cure but it did help relieve some of the pain.

Great for general public
I've worked in Sports Medicine for 10 years and was looking for something to brush up on my skills. Due to my background, I must admit it was largely overview. For the general public, this is a great book if you'd like a better understanding of trigger points as well as soft tissue function overall.

A highly recommended and excellent resource - easy to understand
This is a great resource which even a patient can understand. The drawings are extremely detailed and the explanations are clear. Medical terms are also used for professionals or patients who wish to research further. Simeon Neil-Ascher has treated me personally as have members of his staff and were in every aspect excellent practitioners. I have given this book to 2 physiotherapists I visit and I even took a copy on my last trip overseas. Now I discover that a Kindle version is available, which I will certainly buy.

Excellent livre
Ce livre se lit facilement et donne énormément de renseignements sur les points trigger et la façon dont on peut les traiter. Beaucoup de photographies et d’explications. Merci à l’auteur pour ce travail de fond sur un sujet passionnant.
