x64 Windows Debugging: Practical Foundations

This is a good book overall for kickstarting learning of x64 assembly. You probably need to know some x86 assembly (or other concepts) to get the most out of this book. Still recommended as my "go to" book for learning x64 assembly.

This is a book for beginners. If you would rather learn assembly language with x64, this is for you.The book explores the assembly language as generated by the C compiler for various simple to more complex constructs. It uses windbg (Microsoft most powerful debugger) as its main exploration tool and can be considered as a gentle introduction to windbg as well.

It's no different from x86 version of it. Very basic , author could have added more content to it like how more than four parameters are passed on to stack etc. he could have discussed in detail x64 stack space in bit detail.

The title itself earns the author brownies. The content is meticulously simple!.
