Excellent quality, lots of "real" wood used, virtually flawless EXCEPT mine had two very small dings on the front edge, barely noticeable but an email to the manufacturer got a quick response and a new "top" sent out to me - honestly the hassle of changing the top is hardly worth the effort but at some point I will change it. The dings probably occurred prior to shipping because the packaging was excellent on this - lots and lots of styrofoam and padding. VERY easy to put together, took less than an hour. Heavy, so you will need help but most of it is put together already, only 6 major pieces and the shelves, that's it. The Fedex man did not enjoy lugging it off his truck however.Fireplace: I've seen better flames but it does give off a nice ambiance and glow - the flicker is a little too predictable for me but I'm just looking at it too closely - when you get used to it, you don't really notice any pattern. Lots of features on the fireplace including a backlight and variable illuminations, all controlled by a remote, make this entire purchase an excellent deal. Have not really tried out the heater yet but I'm sure it will be nice to "take the chill off" once it gets cold out. Made in America quality.

We got this unit several months ago for our basement and love it! We needed a console to hold our TV components so decided to go with this one. I agree that the flame isn't super realistic but looks real enough. We aren't staring at the flame but it gives nice ambiance while we are watching a movie in the winter. The heating feature works well and heats the space. The room that we have it is about 250ish sq. feet. Thought it was easy to put together and feels pretty solid. I think some people mentioned some gaps. Not everything lines up perfectly but the gaps aren't noticeable unless you are looking for them. I may be more particular if this was in our main living space. Storage shelves hold all of our components and makes the space look clean. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I've had mine for around 4 months, it's great quality. Arrived on time with no damage. Directions for assembly are easy to follow. Looks amazing and the heater works great.

This has got to be the most expensive piece of crap Ive ever paid for. Normally I would flush it down the toilet, but this wouldnt fit. Theyve had to ship out a new base, the original was cracked. One of the middle pieces fell apart as i was screwing it together, must be that high quality china glue. When i recieved the new base, i started putting it together and one of the cheap plastic threaded inserts was missing. So now i still cant put this thing together. Almost every part has some type of damage to it. Typical China crap!!!Other than every other complaint, it does look really nice. hahaId give it a zero if i could, but for some reason it has to be at least a one.

Really love this piece. The firebox, the console, are a perfect for our townhouse. I was nervous about damage after reading reviews of damage from shipping and the size of the package. Mine showed up earlier than expected, it was packaged very well and there was a scratch on any of it. Super easy TK assemble as each piece is numbered clearly. The firebox has an easy to use remote and the heater function works great. It also provides a nice space to Mount and hide cables directly behind it out of site.

I read the reviews for this and thought i would give this a try. It was exactly what i wanted and i loved the look of it. First of all...IT IS HEAVY ONCE DELIVERED. What you are not told ahead of time is that a signature is required for the delivery and the fireplace inset and the whole entertainment unit come in two separate boxes. Once it shipped and i saw that notice...i had it routed to a fedex office. Well the fireplace was left on my front door and the entertainment unit was sent to the fedex office (THAT IS THE HEAVY PIECE).I had help bringing it into my apartment and setup was fairly simple. Took about 1.5hrs. I will say that this company needs to do a better job of quality checking and putting parts together before packing it. This is why i took one star off. One piece is broken and i now have to crazy glue it back to the unit. Some of the pre-drilled holes had silicon dried in them...so i had to scrape those out in order to get the bolts to fit. Instructions are clear and easy. One person can easily put it together as i did. I'm a 34 year old female and did it all myself. Make sure you have a screw gun..makes it go so much faster. As you can see from my pics...it came out very nice...i just have to get some art or something for my walls after i get a bigger TV. great buy and definitely worth the money.

Very happy with the unit! I went off of the previous reviews and agree this piece is very sturdy once put together. The fireplace has a great feel and look to it. It really does kick out some great heat. My only complaint is the trim that is directly above the fireplace was put on at an angle. It falls a 1/2 an inch above the connecting piece. Not enough to return or be upset, however having an imperfection right above the fireplace is inconvenient. Will request a replacement piece and hopefully that will fix it. Will follow up with that review. Other than that it was a quick and painless to put together and really adds a certain flare to the living room. I have been looking at this piece for the last six months, and so happy I finally purchased it!

I think I received a repack. When I opened the box, there was loose hardware everywhere. Setting the mantle up we found coffee? Spots spattered on it, dents and scratches. Trim was also separating from a few boards. It's a lovely piece but I'm disappointed that I paid alot for it plus shipping and it arrived obviously used.
