Structron 60279 Ultra Threaded Tip Repair Kit

The old saying "you get whatyou pay for" is relevant in this case. I used this to replace the plastic end on a pole I use on my pontoon. I kept breaking and replacing the plastic ends on my pontoon pole so many times, I decided to buy this one at 4 times the price.This is a bit pricey, but I don't think I will ever have to replace it again.Very well made. If I think about it and add up the price and time I spent breaking and replacing the plastic ones, I'm probably ahead of the game buying this one.

A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. It fit perfectly on my old GAM 8' Contractor's Choice extension pole once I cut off the old pot metal broken tip. I would have had to pay more than double the cost of the part to buy a similar pole with a pot metal tip. Not going that route again. The pole will break before this tip does.

This was used on a small extension pole for painting. Original threaded tip broke and this was a great replacement for the pole, which is an aluminum extension pole with a 1" O.D and this tip fit perfectly.Only drawback on this product is the price, for which I could have bought a new extension pole, but the quality appears very good.

Solid stainless I believe. Definitely machined. I bought to replace original that broke. Pot metal , powdered metal whatever it is called . Had snapped at the threads.Cost was higher, but when I got it I knew I wouldn't need to ever replace it.

I'm super excited to have found this threaded tip. I had an extendable tree trimmer tool where the trimmer piece broke last Fall. I removed the entire trimming mechanism and was left with a high quality extendable pole. I knew I didn't want another trimmer, but wasn't sure what to do with the pole so it sat in my garage until this Spring. When the project of cleaning my gutters hit my to do list, it hit me. I need to put a threaded tip on that pole to use a scrub brush and be able to reach my gutters from the ground. My first thought is I would have to go to some sort of specialty fastener store to find a tip that would fit a 1" OD pole. Most poles are the size of broom sticks and a 5/8" or 3/4" pole is much more common. This tip fits perfectly and has a long "neck" that slides over the pole. It comes with a rivet, but if you don't have a rivet gun, the fit is VERY snug on a 1" pole without the rivet. Who would of thought a threaded tip could make someone so happy?

Works perfectly on my ACE extension pole.

Saved me from buying a new pole, Better quality than the one that was on my pole.
