Master Lock 3895DAT - Coupler Lock, Receiver Lock, and Latch Lock - 3 Components Keyed Alike

I had a locking pin on my ball for years. After purchase my first new trailer I wanted a tongue lock and the ability to lock it on the tow vehicle. This makes it so the three locks are all keyed the same and I feel secure nobody will take my trailer or ball without great effort. The red tongue lock clearly points out to everyone the trailer is locked.

Just a FYI the hitch lock will not work on new trucks with a 2 1/2” receiver. To shortLock works ok on my ice castle

We use this on a included trailer and so far so good.

Excellent quality and fit. The same key works in all locks. If you use around salt water, spray a little WD or light oil into the lock to keep it working smoothly.

Overall the kit is easy to use and sturdy. I haven't had an issue with the coupler ball lock or the trailer hitch lock, but the latch pin lock seized up after only a month. I took my trailer out one time when it was sunny and otherwise the trailer (w/ the latch pin lock on it) have been stored in a garage. Disappointing durability for that specific part.

I paid more for the Master lock brand, and would do it again. The locks are strong, easy to use and well made. This set works great for my camper. I will add additional locks for the tires, and it would be nice if they were offered in a set.

Nice matched key set to secure your trailer and hitch. The ball lock does not work well on U-Haul trailers but I installed it anyways to give a harder to steal appearance

I used to use a coupler lock that was a two piece shackle that had potential for insertion of a pry bar or attacked by an angle grinder, which also was a two-handed, cumbersome operation. The red coupler lock fits snug on my coupler which I think is the key to effective theft deterrence. One of the reviewer's pictures shows lots of room between lock and coupler where someone could fit a pry bar and get leverage to break it off, but if your coupler allows a snug fit (my Apex Nano does) where both pieces are flush against metal, a thief will have a much harder time getting leverage to break it off. Sure, someone can get a 50 pound sledgehammer and muscle it off, but anyone can go to Home Depot and buy bolt cutters or angle grinders too if they were that determined. Using the latch lock adds additional security, but of course, a determined thief could bash that off too. This set is probably best used if your trailer is in a location that would draw attention to someone banging on the coupler which might be what you need to make a thief move on to an easier target. If you store or park in shadier locations, you might want to invest in a wheel chock lock or two.The receiver pin is long enough for my 2014 Nissan Titan, even though there are several reviews here mentioning that it's too short for their particular receiver. My truck fits perfectly with about 1/8" to spare, so YMMV. I like having only one key for three locks, and the Master Lock key is silver, differentiating from my other brass colored key so it's easy to locate. Four solid stars because of its features and because I like it. 5 star ratings are for products I absolutely love, so there is really no star deduction for this item.

Piece of junk!!! don't buy this crap. You can remove the plastic blue cap and remove the lock pin with out using a key. is this some kind of joke? I have to buy a whole new kit package to be keyed alike. this here pile of garbage is going to the garbage. It wasted my money and time.
