Compact, light-weight & sturdy
Love these baskets. I bought a total of 4 baskets to use for our family of 5. They are really light-weight, compact when collapsed, and sturdy and roomy when opened. These are large enough to hold a large load of clothes/towels. I love how my laundry area is less cluttered now since they take up so much less space than my previous baskets! I don't think I'll ever go back to un-collapsible laundry baskets ever again.

Perfect for me, lightweight, folds flat to store and holds more than a full load of clothes.
I've been hunting these baskets for years. They used to carry these in stores and awhile back I couldn't find them anymore. I finally found them here. I was so happy. I love these baskets. They work fabulous. They are lightweight, fold flat to store and hold a ton of clothes. They are so great that my family members keep stealing them from me, never to be seen again. So now they can buy their own baskets and leave mine alone. I'll have several stashed away too. The only downside I can see is the older ones were made so the fabric cover was removable from the flexible frames so it could be machine washed. These new ones appear to be all one piece and wouldn't be machine washable, that I can tell. I'll have to check the package on the next ones I get.

The perfect laundry baseket/bag
These things are BRILLIANT. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with these laundry baskets, but I am. They are the best of both worlds -- sturdy and roomy like those bulky plastic laundry baskets, but easy to carry and compact (when empty) like other fabric/mesh laundry bags. They hold a ton of laundry -- probably 2-3 loads worth. I find that the handles are long enough so that it makes carrying the basket up and down stairs easy. They look like they would tip over easily because the bottom is smaller than the top, but they are well-balanced. They are very well-made -- then handles are very securely attached. I've carried huge loads of laundry up multiple flights of stairs and I don't worry about the handles coming off or the mesh of the bag ripping. They're also very handy for things other than laundry. I recently moved all of my daughter's toys from the living room to her bedroom, where they belonged. I loaded these baskets up with everything from books to crayons to dolls and easily carried everything upstairs. Once again, without worrying if they would rip or fall apart.Yes, these are more expensive than the other baskets or bags, but they are a great investment. I want to buy two more -- that's how much I love them.

These are too good to be True!
I purchased my first basket for my daughter to use when she left for college...4 years later it’s still going strong. Since then I’ve returned to buy more as graduation gifts. We love these because they are incredibly sturdy for their weight, they hold a ton of laundry, fold up and hardly take any space when stored. Of all the gadgets that I bought for my daughter for college, this is the only one left standing of the original purchase that she constantly uses. It’s been a valued purchase.

Great laundry baskets
I use both of these baskets for storing clean laundry and toting it around the house. I've been able to put two laundry-loads' worth of clothes in each basket, but that definitely seems to be pushing the weight limit for the handles - no rips or anything though. They easily hold a single load without it seeming like it's too much for the basket. I've had some doubts about them holding up long term with being unfolded/folded several times a week, but I've had them for over a year and they're still holding up strong. Some reviewers have noted that folding these is difficult - I've had no issues with folding them, but I have used other baskets of similar construction before.

I actually like them!
I have to admit that I was a little worried because of the mixed reviews and the price screamed "cheaply made" to me. But, the ancient baskets we had used for years were dying and I was fed up with forever dodging them so, I figured that at around 10 bucks, these could hold us over for at least a few months until I could find some more permanent solution. The Laundry Master (Hubby) could just cope with the awkward shape/size for a bit (a more than fair exchange for 8 years of my stubbed toes in the dead of night) and when they\se unraveled and/or the springiness lost it's spring, we'd be better prepared to hash out a compromise we could both live with.Well, we've only had them a bit so I can't say much about their sturdiness but they seem to be pretty well made so far and, far from awkward, the Laundry Master LOVES the fact that the shape holds faaaar more than you'd think by just looking at them. Plus. Apparently, the cloth handles make it easy to carry one-handed (not being able to bench press much more than the runt of a litter of kittens, I'm taking his word for it). Some reviews have mentioned that it's not very obvious how these things collapse the first time for some of us, and that I CAN attest to because, despite my years of practicing origami- the beloved DID have to show me how to do that first collapse.Still, once the corners snapped together for the first time for me, it was just as easy as others have observed. So, I'm assuming that it's just one of those things that you either instantly see and get or you have to have someone show/explain to you that first time (usually I feel a little sheepish about things like that but since I'm obviously NOT the only person who didn't catch on the first time, I think it probably just has to do with how different people think differently and only mention it because of the multiple comments that have been posted before mine either praising how easy it collapses or complaining about how it's not easy at all.) Needless to say that as a result, I recommend that future purchasers just pay very close attention to how it's folded up the first time they go to use it- possibly trying each "stage" (there seems to be 3) as they're opening it.
