ProCare Hip Abduction Foam Support Pillow, Medium (23" L x 6" - 15" W)

Just what was needed. Had the right amount of softness to make it comfortable and stiffness to make it functional. Adjustable straps. Used a cloth, hospital style, chux underneath incase of incontinence as not sure it could be cleaned if soiled.

This is exactly what mom was given at the hospital, so we could clean one while she wore the second one. Thankfully mom does not need it anymore, and she is not dead. You can machine wash these when they get soiled. The nursing home will NOT wash these, so you have to get one to use while you wash the one from the hospital elsewhere.

The foam is disintegrating and not supporting my moms legs, starting at 3 months.

Size and shape is great, to wear 24/7 the foam started to rip where straps slide thru. So don't move while foam on and make sure human close by to gently unvelcrow with in seconds so you can make it to bathroom. I likes straps more snug to keep leg from "rolling" position to poiny.oit bs role in. For price I thought there would be reinforcement at the points of tension to "protect" foam. I'd buy again but suggest duct tape the slots where velcro straps run/pull to avoid tearing.

Came vacuum packed. Hospital quality, did the trick! Will help me recover quickly vs using pillows or blankets.

I had a hip replacement and tried to use this but only lasted 3 nights. It does what it proclaims to do but it was too hot for me and looking at what you get too expensive.

The first time to use (and only time) and at nite, couldn't get it off fast enough to get up and go to the bathroom. Had to grab the men's hand urinal! Was a very stressful situation! ( Comical next day. LOL )

My mom would recommend this to anyone having hip surgery.
