So bummed
I was absolutely thrilled to find a replacement for my truck handle. We had been using the inside handle for years to open it from the outside. It was super easy to put in and worked great! That is, until it broke this weekend. I bought this in February and it only lasted until the first weekend in June. Now I am totally bummed that it did not hold up. I only open the back door of the truck to let the dog in and out when he rides with me a couple days a week. This wasn't expensive, but to already need to replace it makes me wonder how long it is really meant to last. I expected more. I would have given 5 stars because it was a great price and easy to install, but it didn't hold up so I'm stretching to give it 3.

Perfect fit, easy install.
Installed this in a couple of minutes , yes gals you can too! It is the same as the one my local parts store wants $70 for, so even with the shipping fee it is a bargain I hope it lasts longer than the last replacement, and will write back if it doesn't. You just need an Hex key for the bolts that you truck came with. I installed on my 2004 Silverado .April 2018 update. Well almost a rear since installation and this handle is strong and working. My previous replacement lasted about 4 months, so I am pretty happy with this one. No signs of cracking or wear
