I bought this for the price, you get what you paid for it’s itty bitty. My 3 year old went through the entire book in 2 hours, she sat for 2 hours and doodled and scribbled on every page.Overall it was great for entertaining her and it’s well designed to survive toddler hands but it’s very small. It’s a perfect gift for like a stocking stuffer and for someone who’s never owned a scratch book and would like to test out to see if this is their kind of thing. Overall I am happy with the purchase I just wish it had more pages to compensate for the size or something.

These were perfect to add to neighbor holiday gift baskets for the littles. They are smaller than expected size wise but I also didn’t look before purchase. And actually the size makes them even more perfect for the car or any traveling. Scratch art is fun for people of all ages really.

I purchased this as Christmas gift for a 5 year old which was a good size for her but I did expect to be a little bigger with more work space to use the stylus to bring forth all of the picture. It worked but much smaller than I thought it would be

This product is okay. I am a little disappointed with it--it is small and thin. Matches the description, but I thought it would look different. Also, the cover is a piece of flimsy paper. It came off almost immediately, which is neither here nor there, but just not what I was expecting. I like the idea of plain scratch paper in a spiral notebook, but I think a bigger size (closer to 5 by 7) is better for little kids. Keeping this for my kids to use on planes or a road trip, but won't be giving as part of a birthday present.

This is great but I think for kids who are already actively into drawing. I noticed that 4s and 5s tended to go thru each page and methodically make a scratch then lose the stylus😂. I, on the other hand, wish I had bought an extra one just for me ... I made an awesome turtle in one of theirs to inspire them and I was hooked. In fact, I’m putting one in my cart right after I finish this review. BTW ... lost stylus really not a big deal ... I used a new pencil that had yet to be sharpened and it work great. Get this!!

Our daughter, almost 4, really enjoys scratching off the black coating to these pages and revealing the colors or sparkly underneath. She likes it when I make "curly Q's" and then she can scratch off all the loops. The first 8 pages are all sparkly, and the last 8 pages are colored. It's a great car toy since it's small, with one downside (no matter where it's used) being the black debris that's scratched off leave a little bit of a mess. But we haven't found it to stain.

Fantastic! I have bought my son lots in this range. The wooden scratchers are not sharp and they are easy to use (he is 6). Keeps him entertained for a bit and he's very proud with his drawings-makes even scribbles look great. It is quite small but not stupidly so.

The book was as advertised however the close up picture was misleading this book is quite small and I will take more notice of the measurement specifications in future.
