For fans of SUPERNATURAL, this quick read is a certain plus to add to your collection. There are lots of black and white photos of the cast and the assorted creeps they encountered throughout season one. There's also a great color photo section. Each episode is discussed in detail, highlighting both the production successes and failures encountered along the way. Including plenty of insightful quotes from the cast and production staff, this book provides the reader with plenty of answers for those things you might wonder about after watching the show.My only gripe is that the font is a bit small and at times you find yourself straining to read some of the text and the "Did you know?" items that appear in shaded backgrounds. Even so, a small quibble for what is truly a keepsake and, no doubt, a one-day collector's item.Delivery by Amazon was very speedy and the books were well packaged to avoid damage.

This book is awesome. I wished I could of found a new one but this version was in good shape. Looks of unknown facts and a personal insight to the story. Over all great experience but it would of been nice if the product had been sent a little more secure through the mail.

THIS BOOK IS A NICE LOOK AT SEASON ONE AND AN INTRODUCTION TO THIS ABOVE AVERAGE TO GOOD TV SHOW. IT GIVES US AN EPISODE GUIDE, PHOTOS, CHARACTER INFO, DEMON LEGENDS AND MUCH MORE INFO. IF YOU WATCH THIS SHOW OR IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WHAT IT IS ABOUT, THEN THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS AND RECOMMEND IT FOR ALL FANS OF THE SHOW. CAN'T WAIT TO GET SEASON 2 COMPANION, BECAUSE I CONSIDER SEASON 2 TO BE EVEN BETTER THAN SEASON ONE. IT'S ALL GOOD WITH THE WINCHESTERS.

Loved going back and reading about the shows from the first season, one of my favorite seasons in fact. All the songs used on each show are listed and you get fun facts or oddities listed on each episode. Fun books.

Like all the companion books this one is very informative and extremely interesting. I loved it.

This was fun to read. Finding out what it took to make each episode was mind blowing. The acting, the special effects, the music, the writing, makeup...all of it well thought out(sometimes at the last minute) and well executed. I also enjoyed the music tidbits as well as the monster backgrounds...if you're a fan of the series, this book will make you even more so.

Supernatural is a great tv series and one that can take over your life with trivia and facts from the show, so that's it in a nutshell I have no life. This book gives you a complete run down of series 1 of the popular tv show and with cast and crew trivia and notes on each episode this makes it a great and interesting read.The first season started off like an x-files show but then towards the end of series one we soon discover it has it's own mythology with demons and monsters.Each series has it's own companion book with the same episode reviews and I highly recommend any fan of the show getting these as they give you more information about the creation of the show and possibly what the directors and producers changed at the last minute.

This is the first supernatural companion book that I purchased. I subsequently bought all the rest to go along with the TV series. These guides tell you in depth all about each episode in order and include quotes and full colour glossy photographs from the episodes. It also contains interviews from the characters and the cast and producers of the TV show and includes snippets of information which you may find interesting.

I bought this on a wim as I am enjoying the first series and wanted a book to help me understand the background to the show and its characters and plots. Luckily its paid off as this book covers all three of these matters very well. With a forward by the creator of the show you know your onto a winner because that makes it officialBook. If it has a fault its not in full colour but that would up the cost so its forgivable. Hopefully they will interview the cast more in the season 2 guide book. If you like the show and want to know more about it buy this book.

As an avid Supernatural fan this was a lovely companion to go with the season 1 box set, some cool information inside about the research behind the "monsters" that show up in this season.

I was beyond happy to find this! I have been looking for this book for years but the rare times I did find a copy it cost way too much. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this for such a reasonable price.I'm a huge fan (worryingly obsessed really) of the show Supernatural.
