9090S MiTutto Professional Style Immersion Hand Blender, 550-watt, White and Blue

This thing literally fell apart after less than half dozen uses. And so far it has been impossible to get ahold of anyone from the manufacturer for a warranty replacement. Awful product.

Wand came apart at the base after a couple of years of infrequent use. An email to their support asking how I can purchase another wand went unanswered. Calls to their customer service line just go to voicemail every time. If you need post-sale support, go with another brand.

It's okay, not great, not horrible. It does the bare minimum of what I need it to do, basically turn a pot of chunky coup into a pureed soup.That said, if you're like me, on a budget, but love soups, this will work fine. If you're still ladling soup into a blender, STOP! Get one of these and stop making soup so complicated.I'm grumbling because I used to have a super whammy 900 what version that I could make beautifully smooth hummus and other bean dips. This one just doesn't have the power to do that job. It's not its fault though, for the price it's a perfectly fine hand blender. If you want to make the fancy dips buttery smooth then you'll have to pay accordingly.

This is a great immersion blender. This model comes with cup, blade and blade removing tool. I prefer corded immersions blenders for safety purposes, and this fills the bill -- safe and mighty!This model replaces my last 9090. Blades on my original 9090 started releasing while pureeing soup. Then the shaft bent. My calls and email to MiTutto to replace the shaft have never been returned.I liked the performance of the 9090. I wish it was longer lived. But I did have the accessories that were missing on the new 9090. Except the immersion blades do not fit. The whipping attachment and chopping bowl do work.As others have stated: the optional accessories for this model are not available. But it is a powerful and safe immersion blender that comes with the blade I use most, and a few former attachments work. I hope it lasts longer than the original 9090.

When I first got this and saw the puny blade, I thought "this is going back." But after using it, I've got only good things to say about it. It's so powerful, it will unscrew the screws holding your pot handles to your pots. It might loosen rivets. Best to mix batches of bread dough, or batches of lanolin-based creams, in a pot where the handles are cast with or fused to the pot -- the miallegro is that powerful. The perfect blue cup is really more perfect than the stainless steel blender cup I've bought, & I use it in preference to the stainless cup on all occasions.I don't know if this company's out of business, or just not producing the line ... but somebody out to buy rights to sell this product, refine the line and remanufacture it, with it's accessories. It's a terrific hand blender.

Hit a wall trying to get a replacement for my cracked chopper bowl. I decided calling support would be a waste of time because of the negative reviews on support. I did find that you can order the accessory at the company's web site. However, both using both Mozilla Firefox and Chrome...I got a warning that the site was not safe ... so I backed out. Too bad. I do love that chopper bowl. Use it almost every day where I used to use a food processer. I seldom use the blender part. The only place I found the chopper bowl was via Miallegro but am not going to risk it..

New,still in the box. Came with chopping blade & cup. Trying to buy accessories, whisk, other blades has been fruitless & maddening. Customer service is non-existent; I feel like the credit card commercial (talking to the guy Peggy in Transylvania). I'd really like to keep it, but without the other attachments, forget it

I am so glad they now changed the inside mechanism from plastic to stainless steel. I use this handy kitchen appliance for everything from making smoothies, mixing batter, purees, soups, and grating cheese (I have the food processing attachment for this). Love it!
