love using scripture for cursive practice
I got this for my 2nd and 5th grader to improve their cursive. They enjoy using this book. It is not overwhelming and just enough practice. I challenge my 2nd grader to read the cursive first which is also good practice. We also spend some time discussing the verse. The cursive is presentable and there is enough space to write. It is good for practicing already learned cursive skills which is what we needed. The only area I have to cue my children is with the letter o transitions. They tend to come down more than I like making the o look more like an a. This really has not been a big problem and we love the book. Their cursive is improving. Just what we were looking for...

Great handwriting book! KJV!
I love that this handwriting book is using King James Version bible verses! It is the original translation and a must have for home schooled students! (or just students needing extra practice).

Bible verses and handwriting...great way to learn!
I was horrified to learn that public schools are no longer teaching cursive handwriting. I don't have kids of my own, but I ordered these books for my two nieces. They have caught on very quickly. One of them wrote me a letter in cursive and I am so impressed with how nice her handwriting looks. I strongly believe that handwriting is just as unique as a thumbprint and we should encourage kids to explore their creative identity by learning cursive handwriting. This book is a great start.

Great cursive practice book!!!
I love this book. It is just what I was looking for as copywork for my kids 8 and 10. I love the veres and the quality is very nice. There is no tracing in the book. The child just copies what they see. Great handwriting tool that is Christian!!

Love the fact that the verses are KJV
I have it put away so that in the future, I will be able to teach my grandchild how to write in cursive. I will tell her that she will be learning a "secret code" because it is not taught in public schools any more. Love the fact that the verses are KJV!

I ordered this for my father who has Parkinson's Disease. It is good practice to improve his handwriting ability as well as getting to read a Bible verse at the same time.

Just Okay
KJV is not my favorite, but I knew that before ordering it. Noticed a typo within the first few pages (something like alway for always). Don’t agree with the formation of the lower case “b” or “e” or the start of the capitals like “B” and “K,” which I learned are formed with straight lines up instead of curves. I have also seen letters like little “c” started from the bottom line for consistency of connection, but this version does not. Some of the spacing is very odd. I remember one of the pages having just 3-4 words on a line with plenty of room for one more, but it was on the next line all alone. Overall I think this workbook is adequate but not great.

Great practice
I ordered this for my 5th and 4th graders to do during the summer just for practice. I thought they were great books with plenty of space to write. My kids actually remembered a lot of the scriptures they had practiced writing. Bonus!!!
