I should have read the reviews that say - only charging - cannot play music.

Doesnt support audio, I need charger anyway. looks like it is pretty good for charging purposes. This is exactly what I needed. My old IPOD died and it had the 30 pin adapter. Years ago I bought a sound system for playing the IPOD. Now I have what I need to use the system using my IPHONE 7. Yes I have to remove the cover but not a big deal for me. I’m grateful for this device as it allows me to modify a 30 pin Bose system and Phillips alarm clock radio while charging my phone. The connection is great, I count on this device! I have bought cheaper ones and they fall apart.I didn’t give it a 5 star because the $30 cost makes me a little grumpy. My consolation is I use 2 of them daily! Once there was a man who managed a company. He was quite shrewd and mandated a company wide architecture with proprietary interfaces that restricted aftermarket competition. This adapter is that legacy. When the original iPhone and iPod came out they had this 30 pin or so connector that nothing else in the world used. This meant that it took a while for the aftermarket to catch up and make accessories. The aftermarket still has not come up with a complete replacement for this thing. You can buy lesser adapters that allow you to charge a lightning phone through the old plug. I do not know why you would, but, hey they are available. These lesser impostors will not pass the audio signal. If you want a fully functioning plug this is the only game on Amazon that I could find. That is why we pay 26.00 USD for an item that probably only costs like 5 cents to make. Gotta love Apple and their business model. It is great for shareholders like myself.

These are the perfect connector pins to transfer my iPad air to fit my iHome speaker. I have looked and looked to find that PIN and there it was on amazon.com. Thank you so much, I can use my speaker now and play the music that I like. Yes I would definitely recommend this product, this particular connector pin to anyone who has an older iPad or a new iPad and equipment for the old. It makes a perfect fit. And my speaker has not lost its ability to play my music properly. Thank you again for a quality product.

This is exactly what I needed. My original cord for my Lenovo was pinched, and the wires would no longer connect. I needed to search for a new cord to charge my computer. When in search I wanted something affordable that also worked. This cord met my needs completely. What I found really great was this new cord is much longer than my original cord. This cord works great, and it was a great and affordable price.

The adapters do not work. The fitment of the lightning end does not securely attach to my iPhone 7. Clearly a design / manufacturing issue. Due to reliability issue these are not recommended. Also this vendor has a no return policy?

Carrying my iPhone in my pocket often clogs the tiny plug sockets with lint ... this adaptor adequately plugs the power socket, protecting it from debris. The adaptor works to recharge the phone ... it reportedly does not support audio/video content, but I haven't tested for those. Important thing is it's inexpensive and blocks debris from clogging the socket.

Just received my converter and start using with my new iphone with old cable, working great! I did not know they make converters like this. I first saw the original one, which was very expensive, I pretty much saved about $35 with this converter. Thank you!!
