Modification needed....
It took lots of modifications to get these to work. The fit isn’t perfect so I had to use stainless wire to hold them in place. You could also use zip ties to do so. Had to trim some on the plastic with a dremel to fit better also. I install audio equipment in vehicles so it wasn’t super hard for me but it is not as simple as you think. Took me 3 hours roughly to install. Looks great after though.

Nice looking, but holes dont match up.
Looks nice. Doesn't fix. The holes dont match up. Once you take the unit out, you have to slide this in. And THAT'S where it gets tricky.

Installation on a 2017 GMC Sierra was very challenging
Several "specialty" tools are needed to get this done. A swivel knuckle is required to get to at least four of the 10 screws/bolts that you will need to remove to put the set on. Also, extensions to your socket driver is a must. Most of the screws cannot be accessed directly requiring you to remove the whole insert, not just the pad that you are replacing. It looks like I will have to cut the insert to make room to pass wires through since they have the 4 pin blade and a diode in line which prevents using existing slots to pass the wire through. Overall, this is a real PITA install. I hope they look good when they finally are on. I have put 4 hours in already and am still not done...additionally several harnesses were required to make this all work without splicing any factory wiring. With tools and that, I am over 90.00 bucks already and only paid 49.00 for the lights...No instructions included....

Test the product before installation.
The media could not be loaded. I had a hard time removing the side step but it got easier on the second one. Had to do a lot of cutting to the plastics on both. The new and the main piece. All in all it took me round 5 hours, to put both lights on. Only to find out that the driver side blinker didn't work and the passenger reverse light didn't work either. Can't return product because I had modified it to fit and didn't want to wait so I fix the wires my self. I'm both the weld wasn't connecting properly to the wire. It just needed a little more soldering. Most important thing is to check the product before you install it. After I got done, the lights gave my truck a new look.

good for price
need a decent about of tools for the job, and the reverse lights will not work if your headlights are on, they get overridden by taillights

They look good but!!!! Don't last!!!!
Installed on my 2017 Silverado on 02/02/2019 and one has stopped working by 02/16/2019. Thinking real hard if I should reorder. They do look good when they work!
