Appears to be as described. I will be using this tape to shore/add support to the tail feathers, wings, wherever needed on my rc birds to make them more resilient. This product gets good reviews for its strength and adhering abilities on the various rc aircraft forums. Not a bad product to have on hand "just in case".

I had a plastic chute/mounting assembly that split into 2 pieces that I could not replace on a 14 yr old snow blower. I tried some epoxy glue meant for plastic but it didn't even begin to hold it together. I thought of trying some kind of carbon fiber material to use for reinforcement and laminate it onto the surface by roughing it up with sand paper and using a regular quick set epoxy. I found this item, got some 2 part quick set epoxy, and some cheap acid flux paint brushes that i knew would have to be disposable and went to work. I used this ribbon in small pieces to hold the part together at a right angle to the split, sanding the surface until it was rough, brushing on some mixed epoxy, applying ribbon and then covering and brushing on more epoxy. It was a multi-day and application to finish, but the part seems to be strong as it was when new if not stronger and I'll hope to be using that snow blower for many more seasons thanks to this product.

This tape is pretty good,but don't expect it to stiffen up anything like a carbon spar would.It is very thin,and flexible.After using epoxy it adds a slight extra measure of stiffness. In general I'd have to say I like it.Carbon Fiber Tape, 3/4" x 12'. I do find it to be very useful for my rc model airplane projects. BIGEMANN
