Technically good – but otherwise dull set
We get 15 poses, all of which are well sculpted. Uniforms are accurate, as is most of the weaponry, which is authentic and diverse. One man is using a Panzerfaust, which was a light but effective anti-tank weapon popular with paratroopers and others. However, the example here has a tube length of 18mm, which is about 130cms scaled up, which is massively longer than the actual size of 80cms.The other areas of concern, however, are the few poses, which show men in fighting mode. What you have are two men firing rifles and one man firing a Panzerfaust anti-tank weapon. Everyone else is either strolling around or standing still. Even one soldier apparently throwing his stick grenade seems to be putting so little effort in that - lucky if it travels 10 metres. One of the men is even leaning on his machine gun, which is resting muzzle-first in the ground - a situation which would enrage any officer.To be fair some of the poses are quite good, the standard of sculpting is excellent - but a set of figures doing very little is not going to generate much interest. A very competent product technically but a poor effort in terms of design and final presentation, this was a sad finale to the often excellent range of figure sets.
