This WORKS! (But read my review for more step by step info)
I purchased both this fleece heated vest and the Ancor Power Core 13000 that Amazon recommends to power it. If you read other reviews you'll find a few that can't seem to figure it out. I wonder why? It's all very straight forward. The vest is sold with NO power source; They make the vest, not the power source. People complaining about this must not see that most heated vests don't have power sources built in either. Complaining about this is like complaining that you bought a steak but nobody cooked it for you! Good grief. The recommended Ancor power source is well reviewed and has the advantage you can also use it (not connected to the vest) as backup power for your cell phone or other portable devices that accept a USB hookup. So when it warms up outside you can simply disconnect the Ancor from the vest and hook your cell phone to it instead. You plug your charger cable into the Ancor to charge it up - it uses the same basic USB to USB mini as my Galaxy S7 Edge, my Amazon Kindle Fire, etc. uses. Now on to the vest. I'm wearing it now as my heat is out while I wait on a furnace fix . Vest is keeping my body toasty! It comes with a vest and a USB "current detector." You don't really have to use that if it confuses you. You can plug the vest directly into any proper USB power source. The hookup port is inside the left side pocket. Pop the end of the USB cable out of the pocket gently and hook it up directly to the USB port of your power source. Another advantage of the Ancor device is it's small, slim, and light weight and so it easily fits into that vest pocket. Once you have everything hooked up PRESS & HOLD the button mounted on the front left chest part of the vest. That turns it on. When you see the button begin to glow release. There are 5 settings: Button RED (very high heat), Button GREEN (high heat), Button BLUE (medium heat), Button RED+BLUE (low heat), Button RED+GREEN(pre-heat). The manual claims 40/50/60/70/80Centigrade settings but these do NOT match the ad on Amazon and I would go with that. I notice a definite difference between High and Pre-heat but run it on High all the time anyway. The ad on Amazonfor the Ancor device gives plenty of details about its abilities. You can buy more powerful ones from Ancor or other sources, just first check your measurements if you want to store it in your heated vest pocket; it easily holds my hand but that is a tight-ish fit. If you want to use the "current detector" USB device you daisy-chain it between the power source and the vest's power usb cable. It give you a readout on milliamp usage but so does the powersource in the form of lighted dots that go from 4 dots to 1 dot to no dot as power ebbs so you don't really need the current detector and I don't usually use mine. No probs!Bottom line: A fine product that works 5 stars!. You WILL feel the difference but get a power source too and compare size measurements as given on Amazon to compare with the Ancor device if you want to use something other.

It works as advertised
Wow, what can I say. Both of my children were in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day parade with below freezing (22 degrees with wind chill of 11 degrees) temperatures, this was the best investment I could ever make. I had to keep turning down the temp, I wore a thin long sleeved shirt under the vest a regular sweatshirt over it and then my regular coat. I was in the cold for a better part of 3 1/2 hours and could have stayed for another 3. I also bought the charger that was recommended, that was awesome too, after 3 1/2 hours it did not appear that any power had been depleted.Easily adjustable to larger sizes as someone stated earlier, very comfortable fleece material. Cannot say enough good things about this vest, I have two more parades this week and I looking forwarding to enjoying them while staying warm.

Easy to use and toasty
This is so awesome. I am always cold and just throwing on a sweater doesn't cut it . This vest is truly one suze fits all. As i showed in the pucture there are three layers of zippers on the side so that you can adjust it to your size. The fleece itself is quite nice and thick, so you could even wear it without plugging it. Using it as a heated vest is super easy. The plug is in the pocket. You just plug it in to any external battery. There is a button on the chest that you press to turn it on. There are three levels of heat. I use it on the hottest one. It is a gentle heat, nothing that is going to burn or make anyone uncomfortable. I use it at my desk at work, but you could wear it outside too. I also thought the packaging was super cute so I attached a picture of that too.

A warm vest when used with a good battery pack
Works well and is warm. How long the warmth lasts depends on the battery pack you have to provide. I used a 7800mah battery pack on the high setting which lasted about 3 hours. This should work well under my hunting clothing in those cold days. There are several heat settings on the vest. The inside is a mesh type material and the outer is fleece style clothing. There is only three heating pads in the vest, one on the spine near the neck area and two on either side around the kidney areas. There are none on the front.

So far so good.
Nice vest for hunting. I run this with a large battery pack that lasts dawn to dusk. It actually gets a bit too hot on the highest setting, so I'll either turn it down or turn it completely off until I need it again. I wear a base layer followed by this vest, then everything else. Hope it lasts, so far so good after one season. Only real downfall so far is the cable in the pocket. I can see the end eventually breaking like every other cell phone charging cable. I also wish there were a separate pocket for the battery pack. Having it in the hand pocket will probably cause the cable to be worked back and forth more so than it would need to be thus expediting the breakage. Overall great vest - truley one size fits all. Looks nice enough to wear as outer layer as well.

Sips electricity
I have an old 12,000mah battery for charging my son's iPad when we used to go camping. I had the vest at a medium setting for 6 hours as a test. It only drained 1/4 of the battery. It kept me very warm on a 27 degree day when I was out on my motorcycle. I am definitely going to get more riding in this winter than last winter.

Ehhh it was a good price for a reason
My picture won’t load. I am excited that I can change this from a medium to and 2xl which means my husband and I can share this. I can’t figure out the heat buttons. I can’t tell a difference in heat. It’s not warm at all. I have a Milwaukee heated coat and thought this would work for when it wasn’t so chilly out. I had a power bank fully charged and it didn’t get me warm at all. We are in the Midwest so I need a nice warm jacket sometimes. I’ll give it another week before returning.

Great quality and thoughtful design, waist can be adjusted easily
I’m so excited when I received this vest. Good quality and thoughtful design. There are four layers of zipper on each side, so you can adjust the waist of the vest easily, it can fit Size M all the way up to XL, maybe even XXL. Can’t wait to give it my husband for Christmas. It’s perfect to winter and outdoor activities.
