Most vent clip mounts I used were flimsy and never felt secure, so I switched to an adhesive windshield mount. Worked very well and was super sturdy and secure. But after a couple southern summers, the adhesive began to melt and it started to slide down the windshield. It was a pain to remove and clean residual adhesive. Thought I would try the vent clip on this one and it is working nicely so far. Very secure and sturdy. My phone hasn't dropped once, even when driving through potholes ans speed bumps.

I have no "flat surface" that works for me (didn't want to obstruct my view with windshield mount) -so am using the air vent mounting option. So far it's working fine. Easy to place phone in and out of mount. I do have to remove my iphone case/protector as it won't fit in the mount.

I really like the design and functionality of this mount but the stickiness on the dash didn't last as long as I had hoped. The Florida heat doesn't help but overall it's a pretty good car mount for your dash. I've had it about 9 months and it no longer sticks.

First phone holder that has tight enough grip to work in air vets with my iPhone and case. Highly recommend.

These are really good, solid phone holders ..this is my third one of these, I have one mounted in 2 vehicles ...and after about 3 or 4 years, one of them broke while I was adjusting it....so had to order this 3rd one .......they WERE perfect...BUT this new design seems STUPID to me....they've removed the release button on the right side !?? WHY ? From the driver's side, when I'm releasing the phone, I don't have clearance for my thumb to be releasing the phone because of the curved instrument panel, so I have to mount it further away to the center of the dashboard....the old design had a release on BOTH sides ...so you could easily release from whatever position you are in or shape of dashboard. Bring back the 2-sided release buttons !!

Didn't fit where I wanted it to, just because if the dash contours. So put it in another spot. Sticks well onto dash. Does jiggle a little. But it is pretty well built, and you can set it up in many ways.
