Wonderful work light or emergency light for many uses
It gives a bright light; the unit is lightweight, compact and well designed yet tall enough it can sit on a table and serve as a desk lamp to brightly illuminate paperwork without shining into your eyes, as well as the more typical work light for outside or automotive work. It has a built-in hook that lets it hang from the hood of your car to check the engine at night in case yours (as mine) does not have its own under-hood light. It's a great design, you get two of them for a very reasonable price and you'll readily find uses for both. It also has a charging LED light. The only "issue" which is probably intentional to keep it sealed, is that the rubber plug over the USB-C charging port is quite hard to remove. I couldn't do it with a finger or fingernail, had to gently dig it out with a pocket knife. That didn't damage it, the plug is tough and still seals well. That's a minor issue, it's a solid 5 * overall. Good product! Long-pressing the switch gives you a bright red or (with another short press) flashing emergency light for warning other vehicles if needed. It also has an LED at the end of the work light arm that can be used inside tight spaces (blocked with wires, or whatever) to let you see what's what in otherwise inaccessible or shadowed areas. Really well designed unit.

Decent LED for working on cars
I mean, for $12 bux, what do you expect? lol these work just fine (no idea on longevity yet) for working under/over the car, and that's what i got them for. One stopped lighting up and would only power on with the charger connected. took it apart and discovered the positive wire came off the battery. soldered back on and put it back together, but didn't pay attention to the rest of the wires that go to the LED itself. another wire broke loose... soldered it back on (thankfully it was the most exposed one) and we're back in business. if this does happen to you (no power on), just make sure you don't twist the other wires when putting it back together. Overall, a nice little light.

Pretty good light set if you need a small light
I'm updating my review with more information after 1 year of use:I was needing a wireless light that I could use under the hood of my car, but I did not want to spend a lot of money on anything that I was not going to be using often. These had some good reviews, so I thought I would give them a try. Here is what I think of these lights:Pros:- Price: I think the $15 for 2 of these lights is pretty good. They are not high quality or something that would replace heavy duty lighting, but the price of these make them a good addition to a glove box or backup light when you need it.- Size: Some people may find this as a negative, but I like how small these are. I am able to store them in a glove box pretty easily, or I can put them on a shelf in my garage and not feel as though I'm taking up a ton of space. The actual light bar is a great size for getting down into tight places under the hood of a car. I've used these to get into a space between the fender and the headers on my old truck to break the bolts loose. I've also used them under the dash of the truck, getting into the very small areas. I definitely love the size.- Brightness: This is a good and bad about this set. I'll address the good here. These are bright enough to light up smaller areas. I was able to light up areas under the hood that a normal shop light was not able to light up because I could put the light bar into those tight areas. If you combine the 2 lights, they light up under the hood very well. I actually let my mom use one while she was visiting so she could use it as a reading light. She loved it!- Light housing: The lights have the ability to stick to metal or hang, which was nice. The magnets are a bit on the weak side, but mine worked great on flat surfaces. I'm restoring an older car so my hood is lacking the heat shielding that newer cars have, making the holding power a lot better. The hook is also available so you have that option as well. The housing is pretty nice, not high quality, but has a good feel to it.- Durability: I have used these for a variety of purposes. What really impressed me with them is this: I dropped one in my parts washer tank. I got it out after putting the part on the ground and found the botton would not shut off the light. Thinking that it was broken, I placed it on my work bench to work on later, but the next day, I found that it continued to function as if nothing happened. Very impressed with the durability. These are not going to hold up to constant abuse, but for the light duty application, definitely a win.Cons:- Brightness: While these are bright, they are not nearly as bright as what a normal shop light would put out. If you use only 1 of these, you'll find yourself holding it while you look at what you need to look at.- Size: The pictures make these lights seem larger than what they are. I think the size is great for carrying around, but if you need larger lights, these are not it. I think this plays a lot into the brightness as well.- Build Quality: The quality is good for the price point, but it is not the same quality that you'd find for more expensive brands. The hook feels as though it'd break if you were to quickly pull it from its hanging point, something that mechanics would naturally do if they were working under the hood of a car. I've dropped mine a few times, and they still work, but if you were to step on it, or if something were to drop on it, it'd probably break, especially around the light hinge.- The red light function is hidden. I don't need the red light function, but if you do use it, you have to know how to turn it on. Hold the power button for a few seconds to activate it. Press again for flashing red, and once more for off. Here is a quick summary:These are great lights if you need compact, cheap, and a light that can light up a smaller area. If you need a heavier duty or really bright light, these are a pass for you. I am using mine to get into tight spaces under the hood where a larger light cannot really get to. They have performed great in this type application, combined with my normal shop lights. These are a great buy for compact, light duty, and tight place applications. I own a total of 6 of these lights and purchased a set for my dad.

Compact, multiple uses and good lighting
Worked so well I bought two more as gifts.Magnet is too weak for a solid connection but easy to add another magnet.Color is nice and it fits my hand well, has a clip to hang it and the lights are pretty bright. The dual brightness in both white and red are great, the single flashlight is a little dim for that use. The flashing red light along with magnetic base would work well for emergency car repair.

Good lights
These lights are pretty bright and work very well under the hood or under the car. Magnets are strong enough to hold the whole light extended out.
