KitchenAid K45WW Wire Whip for Tilt-Head Stand Mixer, Stainless Steel, One Size

This Kitchenaid beater is a great product. I’m still not sure it is stainless steel though. It isn’t shinny. But anyway, it’s functional. I’ve made scrambled eggs with it and also wonderful whipped cream really fast. I’m happy to have it and I do wash it in the dishwasher. It seems like the wires are well made and will not break under normal wear.

This replacement wire whip was bought as an addition to the (still working great) nearly 33 years-old original. It fits perfectly and works just as well as its older version. Having read other reviews I placed both (old and new wire whips) side-by-side, looking at them from others' perspectives. I found that the old one : 1. is heavier 2. is still shiny after decades of hard use 3. appears to be of a more substantial quality Looks aside, this new whip performs just as well as the older one. I'm not sure why someone would complain that a whip could break unless the item happened to escape quality control. If the whip is the correct part for the mixer, it's correctly locked into place, it should perform well. A whip is used to whisk air into a mixture, not for blending ingredients. For example, it's used to make whipped cream and meringues. The addition of sugar--whether 10x or granulated--to the cream or egg whites doesn't force the thin wires to do heavy duty work. I am still pleased with Kitchen Aid's quality. The whip arrived promptly and in fine condition from Amazon.

Perfect

I scored a used KitchenAid for $85, but the wire whip that came with it broke during the car ride home - I took a roundabout too fast and didn't secure the mixer properly. So, I bought this replacement and had it shipped the next day because, you know, happy wife, happy life. She’s happy with it, and it looks identical to the one I broke. I’m very pleased that the original whip was all that broke and that I could get what seems to be an exact replacement so quickly. Zero issues.

Needed. I was new to the baking game but this is a game changer. Very sturdy.

Packaging on this was terrible. The original product box, which is not very sturdy, was just inside one of those lightweight paper packages. That paper package was pretty beaten up, and the box was smashed pretty badly on one end. Fortunately, the whisk doesn't appear damaged. The other thing I was not happy with is that it is NOT stainless steel like my old one was, and says to NOT put it in the dishwasher. I haven't used it yet, but assume it will be fine as it IS a genuine Kitchenaid.

This was a bday gift to my grandma and she loved it. Recommend

It fits, but it's not actually stainless steel. the wires are, but the base is aluminum with a chrome-like coating that gets destroyed if you mistakenly put it in the dishwasher, after which the base sheds gray powder any time you touch it.

Parfait et fonctionne

Ottimo prodotto di ricambio (originale) fornito direttamente da kitchenaid. Ho dovuto comprarla in quanto la mia (in dotazione con il mixer) si era completamente storta dopo aver pastorizzato gli albumi (in questo passaggio lo sciroppo di zucchero, solidificandosi, ha fatto perno sulla frusta cambiandone la forma e "viziandola"). La frusta dunque sbatteva sulle pareti della ciotola e ho dovuto comprarne una nuova. Tutto ciò per avvisarvi sul prestare attenzione quando si lavora con composti che potrebbero solidificarsi mentre il mixer è in funzione e che potrebbero danneggiare gli accessori o il mixer stesso.

二十年ぐらい前に本体を購入し2回ほど買い替えて また妻から壊れたと探してみましたら まだこのアタッチメントがあって驚きました。 本体はとても頑丈で、結構妻がお菓子作りで使いますので とても助かりました。
