This is the best sensor porch light I've had.

Delivery was quick. Product looks decent.Easy install by electrician, like that there was a choice of dusk to dawn or just motion detector. I chose motion detector. Also like the bulb being part of fixture. Do hope that there is longevity because the bulb can probably not be replaced-that would be the downside. Nice to be given a choice though. With motion detector aspect you do not have a light on all night long. I would have given it 5 stars but I need to see how long before I have to replace entire fixture. Forgot to add - no one can just come along and unscrew the bulb - that adds to the safety aspect!

The base plate is a different size than normal and has a very small hole to put wires through. I have put up tons of lights but this one took me longer than any other install I have ever done. Once I did finally get it installed the light works great and the motion sensor is the quickest and best. Great light but I just found it hard to install. I had ordered two lights, the second light was easier to install so I upgraded my review and that the problem with the light might have been me....

This motion detector light really works well. Maybe too well. Our house is near Bear Swamp and there are lots of animals roaming the neighborhood at night. We also are pretty close - about 60 feet - to a county road with cars passing by 24 hours a day. The good news is that my husband was able to shim the light so that it no longer turns on with the car traffic, but the wild animals are another matter. I'm hoping that the bears, deer and bobcat learn to avoid our house eventually and use the neighbor's yard instead.

This light only work as advertised in warm weather - when temperatures get down to 40 or 50 degrees Fahrenheit it will turn itself on for something like 90 seconds and then off for 3 to 10 seconds, depending on how cold it is.I installed the light and left it on for a number of days - it was installed on a barn. Soon the light was going off for 4 seconds and then coming on for 90 seconds, wind or not, motion or not. I informed Fudesy and was sent a replacement light. I installed the second light and it did the same thing, although it would stay off a little longer. The two I received are not what I ordered.We live in upstate New York where we have low temperatures. Perhaps the low temps caused a problem, or perhaps the winter weather - damp, rainy/snowy. I don't know. I contacted Fudesy about the second light having a problem and they gave me a refund. I asked about the weather being a problem but they did not know. They said they were investigating.I ended up replacing the light with a Heath Zenith HZ-4150-BK which works as you would expect. Motion turns it on and it goes off in a set period of time. You can't use it as a light.

Light was sent back by another customer. Screws and wall mount lags still in mounting holes, other hardware loose in box, plug for light needed repair. Could see the old shipping label was cut off with a razor knife. After repair, the light works, so I Kept it.

Great price and won’t corrode like any metal. Our street lights are metal and are a constant maintenance problem need repaired and painted constantly. Even though the price was so low I thought that I had to order 2 and they come already as a pair making the price even better. I think they will work well in this Florida climate and using a led bulb with low wattage gives enough light without being too bright like some of our neighbors.

The quality of light shows up badly in the Ring videos at night time. The older one I had, produced excellent videos in Ring in the night time, while this one comes up with grainy and not so recognizable videos! The light is that dull for capturing a good photo/video at night.It is probably Ok to use as an extra light, instead of as the only light you have at the front or back.Also, motion detection is not that good either. Seems to work consistently only within 4 ft or less.. I would be fine with 15 ft or less. But most of the time it doesn't turn on till I am within 5 ft, sometimes it seems to work within 10 ft; random behaviors.It looks good, very light, easy to install, but that's about it.
