I have a small nail file with a cover like a tiny sword, that I've carried in my handbag for at least 20 years. I believe it is a diamond file and I have never seen another in stores. With constant use, it is as good as new and never has lost the grit on either the fine or coarser side. This one is a bit bigger but I'm hoping it will be just as good and reliable as it appears to be a similar quality.

A simple nail file just impressed the hell out of me! It's far superior to the cheap Chinese nail files that I have bought from the big-name companies. It made quick work of my nails and left them extremely smooth immediately. Well worth the price! It's a little smaller than usual, but highly effective.

First impression: it's small, but it's great quality & so, it's a "keeper".My questions: 1) Is the "coarse side" the one with the emblem on it or vice-versa? 2) Which side do you use to start your manicure vs finishing it up?Thanks for any help you can provide me.

Works quite well and lasts for years

Delivered on time. It is small enough to fit into a wallet which is a plus.

It files good but is tiny. So out of the 4.25 inch total length, only 2 inches is actually 'file' surface, the rest is a plastic handle. Maybe I didn't read all the detail to learn how tiny it is but I've learned a lesson... if you need a nail file to tuck into a thong bathing suit then this is it.

Just what I was looking for. I use this file for my toes only and so I like the cover so I'm not getting toenail filings in the drawer with the other clippers and files. It ahs a solid build and is just the right length. Sapphire nail files are the way to go because they last forever without wearing out.

My last nail file finally died after ten years. I tried this one and I think it easily has another ten years of use in it. It’s got a good weight in it. It’s smaller than I thought it was going to be but I actually prefer that. It’s easier to get in smaller areas where there may be a chip without having to take the whole nail off. I like the cover on it too. It’s all very well made. A little more expensive than I’d have preferred but I’m glad I paid the extra.
