Metal File Bar Kit 1/2" High w/ 2 Clips (15" Long, Plastic Clips for Metal Drawers)

I want to begging by saying the item worked and was what I needed- thought there were 2 sets for the cost read more closely next time. That being said I found the clips elsewhere for next to nothing 26 cents to be precise; and the metal bar at my local home improvement store I was able to get 3 bars for $3. I think the shipping cost on this was ridiculous . I’ll spend more time researching next time as well.

This bar was a little thicker than I needed it to be, but I was able to make it work well. I didn't use the clips that were included as I got it to replace on that was missing in a wooden filing cabinet with carved grooves.

Buyer beware on this. When it says "metal bar kit" it means singular. If you truly need a kit, you have to buy two because the "kit" comes with one bar. Given the unreasonable price for a piece of metal plus the shipping (no free option), take a trip to the hardware store!

Just a metal bar for $14 plus $10 shipping. I feel violated.

It is a single aluminum bar and a bracket. All I needed was the bar because I had lost one in moving. This company charges a very large amount of money. I later found the same bar (and many more sizes) available for a small fraction of the price at one of our common hardware stores.This company/individual got away with robbery.

What a rip off! I have half of what I need to hang a file folder. I spent $28.01 to avoid a trip across town to Staples. The single bar arrived in an envelope is slightly bent from handling. Totally useless.Update: I was able to buy the 1/2" aluminum stock 3 feet long for $4.81 tax included at Lowes. It isn't quite as shiny, but my files won't care. It also wasn't bent. I was going to have to cut it to length anyway.

Needed to replace a missing hanging file bar in a single drawer. Fit great after being cut down for the drawer.
