Not worth the price - too brittle and can't hold their tuning
I won't be throwing my money away on these strings again. Two of the strings didn't even make it through their initial tuning -- they just snapped (G & high E). So much for the improved sustain. The lower bass strings won't hold their tuning after being on for 3 days. I'm not sure who cares about them being "louder" (as advertised) if they can't play the right notes. In other words, I spent all that money on one mid-quality B string. This is all on a Breedlove acoustic which has not had any trouble with any other strings in 5 years. I've gone through a lot of Ernie Ball Earthwoods at less than half the price, and these Vibe strings can't even touch them as far as durability and reliability. For a company that claims to use a higher technology, they can't break away from the "Made in China" label on the back. These are not high quality strings, as much as the company wants you to believe they are. Only the price is high. If you really want to spend that much, you might as well toss in a few more bucks and get a long-lasting set of Elixirs.Update: Decided to keep the remaining strings on and really put them through the ringer. After 4 or 5 days, the 3 wound bass strings finally settled in. And in fairness, they do produce a nice clear tone. Not everybody has 4 or 5 days to break in strings though. If you're a gigging musician, you won't want to put these on right before a gig or as a replacement during. However, after a few weeks there is still no sign of rust or corrosion, and they get heavy use (1 - 2 hrs per day + traveling, which means more temperature changes on the instrument). This is a nice plus after a disappointing debut. The one B string is hanging in there too, but it can get a little "blatty" at times if picked too strongly. It holds up to a LOT of bending though (heads up to blues-style players). For now, the rating rightfully belongs middle of the road. I'd feel safer recommending these to the 'at-home' guitarist who doesn't gig much and has the time to let strings break in. You might be nicely surprised -- just be CAREFUL during tuning and go slowly. But I would keep looking if you're a musician who's constantly in need of re-stringing and re-tuning.

What a cool picture on the front
What a cool picture on the front! What a great rating! Almost 5 stars! What a disappointment. These strings were poorly manufactured such that under a normal tuning, they had intonation problems on my Taylor guitar.I play guitar every weekend at a church in front of a lot of people. My strings, tuning, and intonation must always be flawless. I tried these for two weeks, then finally got my normal Elixirs; WOW my guitar sounded good again! It is possible that I got a bad pack, but I don't think so because just touching and handling the strings, one gets a sense of poor quality in manufacturing. If it is a money thing for you, and you don't play professionally, or you don't yet have a good ear, you might not notice a thing - go for it! :-)

Great practice strings
I normally use more expensive, brand name strings, for all of my guitars but thought I would try these out. While not DeAdario or Martin quality, they will work for what they are intended for and for the most part, sound fairly good. I've tried them on 2 different brands of guitar, Gibson and Epiphone, and noticed a definite difference in the way they sounded. Not bad, but definitely not what I was used to.I think these strings will work great for practice, but I will be sticking to my regular brands for more serious playing.

I purchased these strings based upon the posted reviews. Unfortunately, one of the strings broke when installed but the supplier promptly sent a replacement set much to my delight. I have a 40+ year old Ephiphone acoustic and these strings hold tune better than any set I’ve ever used and the tone quality and sustain is outstanding. Now my old guitar sounds better than ever. Just buy these strings and you’ll immediately understand why you will never want to use any other brand. I hope I can buy a set for my electric guitar when it’s time to restring!

Corde robuste e suono bilanciato
Consigliate.
