It really is a rich cream, but not oily or waxy.

Is this product cruelty free?

I hope so. Perhaps you could read the description more fully or even contact the company who makes it. I do not use cruelty products.

It’s not unscented but it’s a very mild scent which fades quickly. I’m very sensitive to scents and try to avoid them as much as possible.
