Can I use this machine for makeup applications and body painting?

Yes, we use ours for both applications and painting canvas. The max pressure is uncomfortable to my face, could probably cause injury to a closed eye, and I used white nail polish on the MAC valve to mark what pressures are comfortable on face (pretty low pressure) vs body (medium) and I turn it to full blast when using a canvas. I also use https://www.amazon.com/Iwata-Medea-Pistol-Grip-Moisture-Filter/dp/B000BQO8WY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478649625&sr=8-1&keywords=iwata+moisture+trap to make sure no moisture from the compressor makes its way into my bodypaint.
