not sure what to tell u how it rates. not that i have experience with these things. all the parts came in bags and nothing missing. it worked, didn't snap. make sure the mount (assume wood frame) is strong enough to worth the repair. i mounted the anchors inverse to the load (P shape where the straight of the "P" is mounted to the wood and the spring go thru the P-hole pulling down) and adjusted with longer screws. so far it held. plan ahead to make sure the spring(s) excert dome shape up to carry the load properly and take up all the slack the fabric cover would give. don't measure and imagine it would be flat like if it's a box you are building. didn't have a bolt cutter to trim length, so grinded it off with a grinder. be sure not to cut on the straight, cut in the beginning of the spring curve so it won't just slide off the mounts. mimic how the original ends were cut at an angle. << lesson learnt. didn't read much of the instruction as it was sort of not applicable for repairs that did not re-upholdsterize the whole couch. the instruction expected the fabric to be off so the mounts would be align with the load pulling on it. Not squeaky (keep the paper thing in there).

My couch is OLD! Some of the springs had sprung and needed replacing. These fit my circa 90's lazyboy perfectly. They are kind of difficult to install. I ended up using two long thick screwdrivers as levers to pull the springs into the retention hooks. I only replaced broken springs and now my couch is kind of uneven. If I weren't ready to give up this couch soon I would order more of these to finish the job. I also fear trying to uninstall the old springs. I would hate to have one snap while I was uninstalling. If I were to attempt it I would definitely take measures to protect myself from sproinging springs. There is a lot of potential energy in those installed springs.Once installed these brought new life to the couch. The bits with new springs were obviously more springy and supportive. Even though this couch might be out the door in less than a year I keep considering purchasing more springs to renew the rest of the bottom springs. Now if only I could find replacement foot rest armature pieces I might not send this out the door. It's so well used I wore through some rivets in the footrest mechanism, the bolts I use as replacements don't last very long and I have to keep replacing them.

Easy way to replace broken seat springs at a savings . Was quoted $150.00 to have springs replaced. Cost was $25.00 plus 2 hours of my time to do it myself.

I was so glad to get these new springs for my husband’s recliner. He only needed to replace 2 at this time but now we have 2 more if needed. It took him about 20 minutes to remove the broken springs and then replace them with the new ones. He did break a sweat but it was well worth it. His chair is now like a new one!

Our couch was sagging & uncomfortable. I paid a lot for what was sold as top of the line. Upholstery still in great condition. Took off dust cover & immediately saw potential problems. Ordered 3 sets of springs. Used between existing springs & made a dramatic difference. It sits better than it ever has. Would definitely recommend the springs are strong & easy to install.

I cut about an inch off the springs and installed in my ijoy massage chair. Gave new life to the chair. The old springs had snapped after years of use. The new springs are stiffer and should outlast the rest of the chair.

These were a perfect fit for my rocking chair.please don't expect a drop in installation as you will need to customize the length and attachment for your particular application.These come with everything you need except the man power to respring your chair.They also cut very easy with a Dremel.
