Areaware Harmony Ball Barbell Rattle Silver

I was looking for a classy, high quality rattle for a gift. The pictures and information on this rattle almost made me not buy it as there was not much information. However I liked the shape and whatnot so decided to try it with plans to return it if I did not like it. I am so impressed this rattle is real silver and very sleek and classic in its design. The neatest part is that it rattle noise is hand tuned to be this beautiful tinkling musicial sound. Very unique and not at all irritating. I liked it so much that I put it on my baby registry:)

beautiful design, great sound. Just beware that it's not Actually Silver. I didn't know what German Silver meant and thought it was silver from Germany. haha. Ok that's my bad, but really the description should have at least attempted at "nickle alloy" and not real silver.

It sounds like Christmas and the Nutcracker ballet. It dents very easily. Don’t play with on wood floors if you want to keep it perfectly round. It’s kinda expensive, but I’d buy it again if it gets lost or something.

This rattle is a beautiful, practical heirloom. The harmony ball melody is soothing and the cold silver feels good to teething babies.

It's not even close to silver, therefore extremely overpriced, also it's very heavy for the baby younger than 3 years old, but why you would need it at this age?

Very nicely made and pretty packaging, was a very thoughtful gift for our newborn. However, now she's 7 months old and LOVES playing with it, but (1) the silver has tarnished very soon after unwrapping the packaging and I'm reluctant to use polish because she loves putting it in her mouth and (2) it's so hard and heavy that I'm worried one of these days she'll give herself a black eye when she swings it into her face. Also (3) she likes hitting it on the floor but within one day of doing that it has huge dents on it ...so the pro's are she does indeed love it and it makes a pretty and soothing sound. But am seriously worried she's going to hurt herself.
