Neither is it like another competitor where the product is totally matte, and therefore, no fun at all to apply or wear. There are some "balm" qualities to the Carmex brand. It is the perfect middle ground for adults who want healthy, uncracked lips without looking made up. Keeping lips hydrated during the summer is hard! It can be hot and dry out there, and yes, lips do get sunburned! But who am I kidding? So that's why you'd apply a lip balm that doesn't have any color at all. Not all occasions call for color. It's mostly about the flavor, which is nice, as is the scent. It's delicious on both counts without being "little girl" smelling. I don't need it to smell like Bubble Gum, for example. Naturally delicious scent/flavor. I got one of these at work, and since then (several years back) I've been hooked on this product. It's at least worth a try! If you don't like the first one, you can at least use the other two as stocking stuffers for the holidays! But I'm pretty sure you'll love it. Works great!
These have been great! I've been using them daily for a while, and I've only used up one of the sticks. They accomplish what I need them to, which is to help prevent my lips from getting dry! I appreciate the three-pack because it saves me from having to order more for a little while. I highly recommend this lip balm!
