Ring Shaped Door Knocker Satin Chrome

After reading other reviews saying how good the quality is for the price, I thought I'd try. Yes, it is good! Solid steel, high grade fittings, not cheaply made.You do have to drill through the door to fit it as the retaining bolt and nut is inside (this is good as it won't ever come loose and can't be stolen) and also I had to shorten the bolt with an electric saw as it was too long for a standard door, so you do need some power tools. You could use a bunch of washers on the bolt instead of sawing it but wouldn't look as good.Definitely good value!

A really smart, classic looking door knocker in brushed chrome. Very happy with my purchase. Just like other reviewers, I did have to saw about 2cm off the bolt for it to fit, but that was the only downside.

As per the title, the bolts are too long. Can’t imagine a door they would fit (a vault maybe)?? I’d to go to the DIY store as I don’t have an industrial sized bolt cutter in my toolbox. Other than that, I’m happy with the item for the price.

This knocker is really good quality and bigger than I expected, but soo looks the part on the door. Many folk have commented on the quality.

I cannot review the product properly, as I ordered the Satin finish door knocker and received the polished finish instead. I returned the item and requested that they send a satin finish knocker I had initially ordered. I then received the polished finish knocker again. So, admitting defeat, I have installed it, which was very easy admittedly, and intend burnishing it with a fine sandpaper to create the satin finish that I was after. It’s a shame that they couldn’t have provided me with the correct item on two separate occasions.

I like the design and weight, it will look very smart hung on my door.I have had door knockers hung on the houses I have lived at but not as heavy.I just hope that when people call they don't knock on to hard.It is quite tactile.
