Being from Sweden, IceBugs knows more than they might want to admit about winter. Not only the postcard pretty, snowy landscape type, but anything from -25C, over slush to the modern city version of +5C with the rain blowing hard into your face and the streets flooding. The real icebugs survive by creating an anti-freeze protein in their bodily fluids. We humans can't resort to that. But warn, dry feet and outstanding traction is a good way of staying mobile and increasing the chances of making it through, even keeping the spirits up.

Wrong tags and disappointed these are not studded soles
Overall warm and comfortable and fit as expected (I went a half size up to accommodate thick winter socks). However, I am EXTREMELY disappointed that it was not made much clearer that this produce does NOT have a studded sole (it has rubber nubs; those are not studs). To make it even more confusing, the tag that came on the boot is for BUGrip Dynamic Studs, so it is also mislabeled. Had I known it was rubber nubs and realized there are two versions of the Daphne (the studded Daphne is here: https://www.amazon.com/Icebug-Womens-Daphne-Studded-Traction/dp/B00EJN1KSU/ref=pd_ys_c_rfy_679337011_6?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00EJMYMHW&pd_rd_r=897A358CF46FNGEYECPQ&pd_rd_w=FcbZb&pd_rd_wg=8tzXq&refRID=PMF1T95FHQQXEAG78E48&th=1&psc=1) I'd have realized I landed on the wrong version of this boot and gotten the other.I bought them on an Amazon deal after flipping back and forth looking at all of the Icebug boots trying to find a longer shaft with studded sole, so missed that these are BUGsole and not BUGrip (again, the tags are wrong) and thought that the price reduction was because it was on a deal (I think it was a lightening deal). Turns out it's basically the same price now as it was on the deal ($7 more now).I would return, but after I read the tag I didn't look at the bottom to make sure it had studs and of course I wore them outside so now they are not returnable. Really bummed.

Love These Boots!!!
The wide, flat, grippy soles on these boots are wonderful for snow hiking, walking and even running. Don’t worry about the initial stiffness. They quickly soften up and form to your foot. The zipper makes them easy on/off and you can cinch the laces up to hug your foot and leg. Very warm and comfortable. Order a size larger to account for your winter socks. They will quickly become your favorite winter boot. Love them!

Love them very well made and easy to use
Wow these are well-made and I can even hear this soles gripping the floor. As for them running small I don't agree with that I normally wear a size 7 to a seven and a half all the way up to an eight and a half depending on the type of shoe and who made it. Now these will be snug if you're expecting snow boots to be larger than a regular size shoe to accommodate extra socks. But I've worn them out in two feet of snow now and I didn't even have socks on and they are still super warm. So as far as I'm concerned one good pair of thin are most stocks will work just great for me. I have M S so superlite boot that allows me to feel secure walking on different types of surfaces is ideal for me.

Very comfy!
I had a pair of Diana-l for 4 years and was looking to get new ones, but couldn’t find any my size. I ended up ordering a pair of Daphne-l hoping they would do the job for me. The shaft is a little taller and the foot is a little roomier, but they are as comfortable. Maybe in a few years I will get a pair of Fern GTX, but these will be my feet’s best friends for the next few winters.

Do your research.
I ordered new boots and received USED boots! Scuff marks along with animal hair! The description says boots are good to -°25 C, However, the tags on the boots say -°20 C. That's a big difference in a cold climate!

Ok boots
Feet are cold in these. Air goes right thru them. Slippery on snow and ice. Grip isn't good. Very comfortable though. I where if it didn't snow too much. Wouldn't buy again.

5 Star Snow Boot
I bought these shoes for snowmobiling wearing regular everyday socks and they kept my feet dry, warm and are very comfortable. I am actually wearing these pretty much everyday now. I am a size 8 1/2 and purchased a 9, definitely some room left, if i knew they would be true to size I would have purchased a size 8 1/2. The only thing I dislike is the salt ruined the suede so now the black is faded and looks greenish, otherwise I am very happy with this purchase. They are not bulky like other snow boots.

These boots win at MN winter.
I walk about a mile to work everyday in Minnesota. Recently, it has been winter. These boots solved the dilemma of how to remain upright while traversing this icy landscape. They are lightweight, sturdy, and the best purchase I’ve made this year.

They really provide a great grip in slippery conditions
High quality boots, very warm as well. They really provide a great grip in slippery conditions, the only ice they don't grip is totally smooth ice like a skating rink. These boots will grip other kinds of ice tenaciously, they have already saved me many a fall while out walking my dog on icy sidewalks and streets.
