Excellent pressure compensation drip tubing.
Love that these are pressure regulated emitters so you can really do a lot with them. Rainbird is always quality, and you get a good value. Fits standard 1/4" tubing connections perfectly with zero leaks or problems, emitters are high quality and don't get clogged, very happy with this purchase. Tubing is pretty easy to work with and I find it on the softer side of drip tubing so you can go in and around corners and such, connections quality is perfect with no leaks.. This is my first year but the tubing looks like it'll wear a long time and is quite durable.

Beat tubing I ever used
This tubing exceeded expectations. I was excepting something similar to the 1/2” rain bird tubing I bought before which can handle years of intense UV in the desert but the thin walls are prone to kinking and creasing. This 1/4” tubing has more substantial material that resists kinking and the textured non-slip outer layer is convenient. It works perfectly in a drainage systems for indoor plants .

Works great for me
I purchased this drip tube a while ago but didn’t really use it in my garden right away. I think what turned me off in the beginning, was the difficulty of laying it out and inserting barbs, because it isn’t very pliable. I decided to work on my irrigation, now that Summer is coming to an end, and do a major overhaul. I’m also trying out square foot gardening, which is new to me, and I thought I could do a grid pattern with this drip tubing. I laid it in the sun to make it a little more flexible but it’s still definitely difficult to work with. I also had these 4 inch long stakes for 1/4” tubing, that I purchased from my local hardware store, and I made my grid. It definitely took a little practice to get it right, but I think I have it figured out now. I wanted to elevate the tubing above the soil and mulch, so that it drips down and doesn’t lay in the dirt. I use the stakes to elevate the tubing maybe an inch above the ground and this works like a charm. It is actually pretty awesome and the stiffness of the tubing I think helps it stay elevated. I have my 12 x 12 squares laid out for my square foot gardening in my 2 x 4 bed and the whole bed is perfectly moist from running this for 15 minutes.. I’m an urban gardener with a tiny backyard. I decided to post this review because maybe it will help someone else. I have definitely struggled with figuring out irrigation and so I’m pretty happy with the set up. The only problem is I can’t find those stakes anywhere but my local hardware store but luckily they had a pack of 50. I’m using 6-8 stakes per square, which is probably overkill, but I did anyway. Lol .

Five stars for now
Just installed these and they're already poised to improve the health of my yard based on initial results. I have 6 "Thuja Green Giant Arborvitae" trees in my side yard where I have irrigation available. Reviewing my order date, I planted those a few weeks shy of two years ago (they were unimpressive '1-2 ft' trees, all maybe 1ft in reality) and I watered them like twice that month and never again. I'm in planting zone 8A in a humid subtropical climate - we get regular rains, sometimes flooding rains, but also periods of extreme heat with no precipitation... like the 2025 heat wave we just exited today 8/2 (hallelujah). This Spring I noticed those trees were looking a little unhappy, so I began manually watering and eventually set up an impact sprinkler that would mostly hit them on the tail end of its sweep, but not a perfect system by any means. It seemed to help through the dryer weeks in later Spring and they look pretty good today, nearly 3ft tall and 2.5ft around, and not nearly as unhappy as a few months ago. But this heat wave and other periods of no rain we've experienced here this summer combined with my shoddy sprinkler watering warranted upgrade. For the last week to get through the heat wave I just had 1/4 drip tubing shooting out on to the soil near the trees - one per. An hour ago I installed this product which only required a 1/4" tee to form a perfect loop of 5 emitters. I didn't need to warm up the tubing to push the T in like others have suggested, but it did require some force. By my calculation, this will deliver 4 gph (5 emitters * 0.8gph) - though I intend to keep my automation schedule of 30 minutes, rain or shine. It's creek water from a pump so I'm not thrifty. All 6 loops are dripping well and I have a lot of leftover to use around some other trees, and maybe replace the misters I have in my fern beds that are no longer as effective (because the ferns doubled in size and are blocking each other). I'm likely at risk of clogging before many other users since I am using creek water, and my above ground impact sprinkler's hose screens have definitely gotten plugged up with sand and sediment, so I have an inline filter on the way before I really put these in to scheduled use. Anyway, I'm excited to have decommissioned the impact sprinkler that was sort of reaching these trees and watering everything else in between - hopefully I have less weed growth... and less weed growth than using any other 1/4" mister/fan sprayer/bubbler as I'll be targeting the root ball more directly. I didn't even know this product existed and wasn't excited at the thought of using multiple drip emitters per tree. Cut to size and go seems like a win.

A little bit stiffer, but much more secure than alternatives
This is high-quality tubing and a great option if you are having trouble with leaks or have a higher pressure drip irrigation system. I had previously tried the more flexible and softer MXC brand, but found that it could not securely hold at joints, especially under hot sun. This Rain Bird tubing is definitely stiffer and slightly more difficult to work with, but it is very much more secure and will save you having to rip and replace the lines you thought had been easy to lay but now keep coming apart. It does tend to want to keep its cooled shape, but a little bit of flexing in the other direction straightens it out. And if you intentionally bend it, it will hold the shape. I was so frustrated by my earlier choice that I replaced it all with this and double-barbed connectors. It hasn’t given me any problems since. Even in the couple of places where I ended up having to use single-barbed connectors, this tubing has also held up fine. Those who say this tubing is difficult to work with must have extremely low water pressure or no sunlight. Otherwise, I can’t imagine being satisfied with anything less than this product.

Durable
Use as garden irrigation with misters, fits well with different brands of fittings as long as they are 1/4",no kinks and if drained they hold up all winter.

Excellent quality. Just coiled up a length in my Greenstalk Reservoir so I could water my Greenstalk as part of my drip irrigation system for my entire garden. Works beautifully. It overflows the internal reservoir as intended to water all the lower levels. TIP: With drip irrigation systems, all the emitters must be drip, you can't mix and match. Hence, the roll of irrigation tubing in my Greenstalk.

Connected this drip tube to a small fountain pump and plastic water reservoir tub to use as an indoor watering system while on vacation. Combined with a timer it worked really well to water plants over three week period. You’ll need to calibrate how much water you need and then determine how much water discharges through the drippers in your setup to then calculate how long to have the pump turn on and how often you need to water. If you had this setup within a flood table or similar container it could collect any excess water back into the reservoir similar to an Ebb and flow system.

Excellent product. Easy to install and much better than overhead sprinklers for vegetables.
